Bihar Polytechnic 2025 Exam Pattern
The entrance test of Bihar Polytechnic, also known as DCECE will be conducted in third week of June 2025 (PE) and in third week of June 2025 (PM/ PMM). Check below the details about DCECE exam pattern:
Bihar Polytechnic Admit Card will be released on second week of June 2025. Authority is provided the admit card only to successfully registered candidates. DCECE Admit Card is made available via online mode through the website.
- Course: Bihar Polytechnic DCECE will be conducted for admission to diploma-level courses. It will be conducted for PE/ PPE/ PMD/ PM courses.
- Mode of Exam: DCECE will be conducted in offline mode (pen and paper based mode).
- Duration: A total of 2 hours and 15 minutes will be allotted to the candidates to answer the questions.
- Language: The question paper will be asked in English & Hindi language.
- Answer Marking: Candidates should use the black & blue pen to mark the answers.
- Number of Questions: The total number of questions will be 90.
- Question Paper Type: The question paper of Bihar Polytechnic exam will consist of objective-type questions. A total of four optional answers will be provided for every question and candidates are required to circle (mark) the correct option only.
- Subjects: For PE/ PPE course, the questions will be asked from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects. For PM course, the questions will come from General Science (Physics, Chemistry & Biology), Numerical Ability, Hindi, English, and GK.
- Marking Scheme: Five marks will be awarded for every correct answer.
- Negative Marking: No negative marking.
