Here, candidates can check the information about Assam Polytechnic 2026 Application Form with some instructions:

• Application form will be released in online mode. Any offline facility will not be available to submit the form.
• Candidates will be able to fill the registration form from first week of June 2026.
• Aspirants must fulfill the complete eligibility criteria before filling the application form.
• Fill Out application form with correct details including educational qualification, personal, address etc.
• Upload scanned images of documents i.e. scanned passport size photograph & signature in the specific format.
• Candidates must upload documents in jpg/ jpeg format.
• Application form will be submitted till fourth week of June 2026.
• Correction facility will also be provided by the authority in fourth week of June 2026.
• Take printout of the filled registration form and keep it safe for further references.

Application Fee:

• Candidates will need to submit application fee through online mode.
• Application fee will be Rs. 300/- for all category candidates.
• Online payment will be done through debit card/ credit card/ net banking.
• Fee will be non-refundable once paid.

• Step-2: Register yourself by providing mobile number, email ID and date of birth.
• Step-3: Then click on “Assam Polytechnic 2026 Application Form” link.
• Step-4: Fill the application form carefully with details i.e. personal, educational qualification etc.
• Step-5: Upload the scanned images of passport size photograph, signature in the specific format.
• Step-6: Submit the application fee through online mode using debit card/ credit card/ net banking.

Assam Polytechnic 2026 Eligibility

• Nationality: Candidates must be an Indian Citizen to be eligible for Assam Polytechnic.
• Qualifications: Aspirants must have passed HSLC or its equivalent exam to apply.
• Marks Criteria: In the qualifying exam candidates must secure 40% marks (35% for SC & 33% for ST) to be eligible.
• Subjects: Aspirants must have Mathematics & Science as compulsory subjects in qualifying exam.
• Appearing: HSLC appearing candidates will also be eligible to apply.

Assam Polytechnic (PAT) 2026 Result/ Merit List

DTE will announce Assam Polytechnic 2026 Result through online mode on the portal in July 2026. It will be released in the form of merit list. Candidate will need login credentials to check merit list. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in HSLC.

Merit list will contain details i.e. candidate’s name, merit rank etc. Only the candidates selected in the merit list will be able to participate in the counselling process. Candidates are advised to take a printout of their result and keep it safe for admission reference.

Assam Polytechnic 2026 Cut Off

Cut Off will be released in the month of July 2026, tentatively. Assam, DTE will release cut off marks through online mode in the pdf format. The Assam Polytechnic Cut Off will be the minimum qualifying marks that candidates must obtain to get admission.

Cut off scores will be determined based on the various factors including previous year’s trends, total number of applications, availability of seats etc. The cut off will be different for each course, college and category.

Assam Polytechnic 2026 Counselling

Assam Polytechnic Counselling Process will be commenced in online mode. The counselling process will include the registration process, choice filling, uploading of documents, seat allotment, verification of documents and reporting at the allotted college. Only those candidates whose name appears in the merit list will be eligible to participate in the counselling process.

Candidates will be able to participate in counselling from in July 2026. Admission to diploma courses will be given on the basis of merit. The candidates selected for admission will have to submit the seat allotment letter for Assam Polytechnic.

After the document verification is done, the candidates will have to download the provisional admission receipt. Seats to the candidates in the allotted institutes will be confirmed only after completion of all admission formalities.
