AP PGECET 2025 Exam Pattern 

AP PGECET Exam will be conducted in the fourth week of May 2025 through online mode. Students who want to appear in the AP PGECET 2025 examination must know about the exam pattern of it.

Here, we have provided the exam pattern of AP PGECET 2025:

• Courses: Students will get admission into ME/ M.Tech/ M.Pharmacy Courses.
• Mode of Exam: The examination will be held through online mode (Computer Based Mode).
• Shifts: The exam will be conducted in two shifts i.e., forenoon and afternoon.
• Duration of Exam: It will be a two hours duration examination (120 minutes).
• Number of Questions: Total 120 questions will be asked in the examination.
• Type of Questions: There will be multiple choice questions. Each question will carry four answer options.
• Language: The question paper will be asked only in English language.
• Marking Scheme: One mark will be given to the candidates for correct answers. The AP PGECET question paper will comprise of total 120 marks.
• Negative Marking: There will be no negative marking scheme for incorrect answer.
• Syllabus: Each Course has a separate syllabus.

AP PGECET Hall Ticket 2025 will be made available through online mode. It will be released in May 2025. Authority will not send any hall ticket to any candidates individually through by post or any other offline mode.

AP PGECET 2025 Syllabus varies as per the course chosen by the candidates. Syllabus for some courses will belisted below:

Chemical Engineering:

• Engineering Mathematics: Differential Equations, Probability and Statistics, Numerical Methods.
• Chemical Engineering: Process Calculations and Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics and Mechanical Operations, Heat Transfer, Mass Transfer.

Nanotechnology:

• Engineering Mathematics: Differential Equations, Probability and Statistics, Numerical Methods.
• Engineering Mechanics & Strength of Materials: Torsional vibration, Simple Stresses and Strains, Stresses on Inclined Plane, Principal Stress and Principal Planes, Mohr’s Circle, Shearing Force and Bending Moment, Types of Loads, 2 -Dimensional Stress Systems, Torsional Vibration.
• Elements of Material Science: Indices for Planes and Directions, Structures of Common Metallic Materials, Crystal Defects, Point, Line and Surface Defects, Crystal Systems, Space Lattice and Unit Cells.

Aerospace Engineering:

• Engineering Mathematics: Linear Algebra, Differential Calculus, Numerical methods.
• Numerical Methods: Atmosphere, Airplane Performance, Static Stability, Dynamic Stability.
• Space Dynamics: Determination of Trajectory and Orbital Period in Simple Cases, Orbit Transfer.
• Aerodynamics: Basic Fluid Mechanics, Airfoils and Wings, Wind Tunnel Testing, Structural Dynamics.
