Through this exam, candidates will get admission into the PG courses of MDS/ MS/ MD/ M.Ch/ DM. INI-SS and INI-CET examinations is conducted by the AIIMS to offer admission into PG courses i.e. MD/ MS/ M.CH (6 Years)/ DM (6 Years), MD (Hospital Administrative).

AIIMS PG 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfil the following eligibility criteria to be eligible for admission in various AIIMS PG Institutions. The candidates those will fail to fulfil these eligibility norms  will not be considered to sit in the exam.

Nationality:

  • Candidates must be an Indian National.

For MS/ MD/ MDS/ DM/ M.Ch (6 years) courses:

  • Candidates must have MBBS degree for MS/ MD and BDS degree for MDS from a university recognised by the Dental Council of India/Medical Council of India.
  • Applying candidates must have obtained the minimum qualifying marks in all the BDS/ MBBS professional examinations. For general/OBC category candidates, minimum of 55% marks in aggregate and for ST/SC minimum of 50% marks in aggregate must be obtained in the qualifying exam.
  • Must have completed the 12 months of practical training/rotating internship before or on admission year.

For M.Ch/DM and MD (Hospital Administration) courses:

  • Candidate must hold MS/MD or DM degree from a University recognised by the MCI in respective discipline.
  • For age criteria, the upper age limit of the candidate should be 35 years as on admission year
  • Age relaxation of 3 years will be given to OBC candidates and 5 years for ST/SC candidates.

Criteria for PWBD Candidates:

  • Based on the merit list of AIIMS PG 2025, 5% seats of the total must be filled up by the person with benchmark disability according to the norms of Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.
  • To be eligible for this, candidate must have a valid document verifying his/her physical ability. The certificate must be certified by the authorised Government hospital/ Institution or Medical Board of the state.

AIIMS PG 2025 Reservation of Seats

According to the government norms, there will be reservation of seats for various categories. After every round of seat allocation process, the numbers of seats are updated and the left seats status will be published on the website. The percentage reservation of seats for various categories are as follows:

AIIMS PG 2025 Registration

  • Before registering for the AIIMS PG 2025 exam, candidates must make sure that they must fulfil the eligibility criteria of the entrance test.
  • AIIMS PG 2025 Registration can be done by online mode through the website of AIIMS.
  • The registration will start in the fourth week of March 2025 for 3 year courses (DM/ M.Ch) for July session.
  • After the registration process if any candidate found ineligible later or the information provided by them is found inappropriate, the admission will be cancelled.
  • Foreign national candidates those have registered themselves according to the eligibility criteria have to attach a ‘No objection’ form approved by the Government of India to appear in the entrance test.

AIIMS PG 2025 Eligibility Criteria must be followed by the candidates according to different courses to be eligible for appearing in the AIIMS PG 2025 Entrance test. If any information or document of the candidate is found to be fake/duplicate, the admission will be cancelled on the spot.

  1. I passed mbbs from nepal.and clreared fmge 2ojan 2023.my interrnship is pending about 28feb 2023.can i fillup pg test i.e scheduled 5 march 2023.

    1. Candidates must have completed the 12 months of practical training/rotating internship before or on 30th January, 2023.

  2. From which year reservation is started for Aiims graduate. ie 25.25 % in Aiims pg. Clear reservation or preference quota only? Please clarify.

I am a candidate from Nepal,we have our country’s entrance exam for PG on 13th October .But last date of filling the form For Aims submission is 12th October , can the submission date be extended for atleast 2,3 days more?It is very difficult for all Nepalese student to Fill the form until 12th October.We need to take out many documents from embassy,Kathmandu,can we get some more time please?

  5. Can a student give AIIMS PG Exam even if he/she has taken admission to CPS Course???
    If the student gets selected through AIIMS PG Exam, then can he/she leave that CPS course and take admission in AIIMS??
    Does AIIMS allow this.

    I have read in “”FAQ-Question 32-Point j “” of AIIMS PG JULY 2020 FAQ that it is allowed. Wanted to get it confirmed.
