State Exam

Chhattisgarh Pre Engineering Test (CG PET 2016) is an entrance test conducted by the directorate of technical education, Chhattisgarh for admission to various government and private engineering institutes of Chhattisgarh.

B.Tech Admission 2016

To get admission in B.Tech, candidates must their application to CG PET 2016 and JEE Main 2016. In order to take admission in engineering colleges of Chhattisgarh candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria for B.Tech Admission 2016.

• The candidates need to have a minimum pass percentage in Class 12th examination in order to apply for admission into first semester of B.Tech degree programme.
• The candidate must have studied Physics and Maths subject with one optional subject in their 12^th.
• Candidate must be permanent residents of Chhattisgarh.

• Rank card of entrance test
• Original CG PET admit card
• Original seat allotment letter of CG PET
• Migration certificate
• Date of birth certificate
• Original 10^th and 12^th pass marksheet
• Original residency proof
• Admission form
• Photographs
• School leaving certificate and character certificate

Selection Process

For admissions to various engineering colleges of Chhattisgarh in B.Tech courses the candidate must have given CG PET or JEE main exam, the seat allotment of colleges will be done through counseling. For counseling process, candidates will have to complete their document verification at the designated help centres. They will have to register themselves in counseling website and fill their college choices and lock them by the given dates. The seat allotment for colleges will be on the basis of the entrance exams Merit Rank. After seat allotment, candidates have to report to the allotted college campus. They must confirm their admissions by filling admission form, paying fee and submission of documents within the given time.
