GCET 2024 Admit Card GCET 2024 Exam has been scrapped. No admit card will be released by the authority. The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) conducts the GCET examination. GCET stands for Goa Common Entrance Test. It was a state-level entrance test for admission to degree programmes in the fields of engineering and pharmacy, architecture, dentistry etc. Eligible candidates those who will pass the GCET 2024 exam will be admitted to Goa’s government and private engineering and pharmacy institutes. Many institutes and colleges use the GCET scores to determine admission into various courses. NEET UG scores will be required for admission to MBBS, BDS, BHMS (Homeopathy), BAMS (Ayurveda), Allied Health Science, B.V.s.c & A.H., and Nursing programmes. Admissions will be provided on the basis of national level entrance exams.

GCET 2024 Admit Card (Exam Scrapped)

The GCET 2024 Exam will be conducted in the second week of May 2024. The GCET 2024 Hall Ticket will be downloaded after the successful submission of the application form and fee. Candidates will need to provide their login credentials to download the admit card.

It will be downloaded through the online mode by the DTE website. The admit card will be provided to the successful registered candidates only. No offline mode availability of the admit card will be provided by the authority. 

The candidates are advised to bring the hardcopy of the GCET 2024 Hall Ticket on the day of examination. It will be a mandatory document to be carried on the exam day. The candidates must additionally bring an ID Proof (photo identification proof) on the examination day.

How to Download the GCET 2024 Admit Card

The steps to download the GCET 2024 Hall Ticket are listed below:

  • Go to the website of DTE Goa (link will be provided above). 
  • A login page will be displayed on the website.
  • Now, fill the asked information i.e Username and Password .
  • Enter the 6 digit captcha shown in the image below.
  • Press the “login” button and proceed further.
  • On the screen, the admit card will appear.
  • Now, select the “Download GCET 2024 Hall Ticket” button.
  • Take several hardcopy of the admit card for the exam day and admission procedure.

GCET 2024 Admit Card Correction 

The authority will provide the GCET 2024 Admit Card rectification service. In case of any error on the admit card, applicants must send an SMS/Email or directly contact the DTE office for rectification or regeneration.

The candidates are advised to download the hall ticket as soon as the authority releases it. After the last date of correction, the authority will not accept any rectification in the admit card.

Documents Required on the Exam Day

  • Candidates must bring a hard copy of the GCET 2024 Admit Card on the day of examination.
  • On the day of the exam, applicants will be required to bring an authentic picture identity document (ID Proof). 
  • One of the following documents will be carried on the exam day such as Passport, Aadhar Card, Voter ID, Driving Licence, Pan Card etc.
  • Aspirants will not be able to attend the exam centre unless they carry a valid admit card and an ID Proof on the exam day.

How to Retrieve Forgotten Registration Password

Listed below are the steps to retrieve the forgotten GCET 2024 Registration Password:

  • Navigate to the website. 
  • Below the login screen, select the forgot password button.
  • Now, enter the Application Number on the login page. 
  • A new page to reset the password will appear on the screen.
  • Generate a unique and strong password and click the “done” button.
  • Now, re-enter the password and click on the “submit” button.
  • As soon as the candidates reset the password, they will be able to login their dashboard with a newly generated password.

Important Points to Remember on the Exam Day

Candidates can check below the important points to be remember on the day of examination: 

  • Candidates must be at the exam centre one hour before the exam begins on the specified date and time.
  • The hardcopy of the admit card will be mandatory to bring to the exam centre. The candidates will only be permitted to enter the test venue if they have a valid GCET 2024 Admit Card.
  • Candidates emerging in any non behavioral activities during the exam will be disqualified. 
  • Mobile phones, Digital watches, Calculators, Books and other electronic devices will not be permitted in the examination hall.
