BMS College of Engineering (BMSCE) is a private and self-financing institution established in 1946 by a great Philanthropist Late Sri. B. M. Sreenivasaiah. The campus is running as an autonomous institution under the flagship of Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU). The campus is approved by the AICTE, NBA and COA. The BMSCE is the first private sector initiating the engineering education in India. The college runs by the BMS Educational Trust.

Campus

The campus is located over 15 acres of land. The campus is situated in Basavangudi opposite of Bull Temple on the Bull Temple Road in the heart of the city Bangalore. The campus is just 5 km away from the Central Railway Station, Bangalore. The campus is well-connected by the road and easily accessible from the major parts of the country.

Facilities

The campus is providing the state of the art infrastructure and world-class academic facilities. The campus comprises of the academic block, administrative block and R&D block. The college provides separate hostel facility to the boys and girls. The campus has an industry interaction cell, sports department, well-equipped laboratories, central library and computer centre and sports ground.

The BMS College of Engineering imparts the education in various fields like engineering and technology, architecture, computer application and business management.
