Goa College of Engineering Goa
Goa College of Engineering is also known as the Goa Engineering College. It is the oldest and fully government engineering college of Goa. The college was established in the year of 1967. The campus is approved by the AICTE and affiliated to the Goa University. The campus is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA).
Campus
The campus is spread over the 300 acres of land in semi-urban area of Farmagudi hills at Ponda in Goa. The campus is well accessible from the railway station and bus stand of Goa. The National Institute of Technology Goa is situated in the campus of this college on temporary base site. It is one of the biggest campuses of Goa.
Facilities
The campus has two girls’ and four boys’ hostels. The campus has separate staff housing facilities and a guest house for students and visiting faculty. The campus has a gymkhana, canteen, shopping complex, multiple mess facility, stationery, computer centre and post office.
Programmes
The campus has 520 students from UG courses and 60 students from PG courses. The campus offers the 7 UG degree programmes and 7 PG degree programmes in the field of engineering and technology including the disciplines as the following:

Placement
The GCE Goa has been maintaining the good track record of placement since its establishment. More than 50 industries and recruiters visit the college every year for the purpose of campus recruitment. The campus is providing the training and industry interaction to its students. The main recruiters of the college are Cognizant, Veritas, MRF Tyres, TATA Consultancy Services, Infotech, Godrej, Tech Mahindra, DELL, IFB and Marico limited.
