Candidates must read the below instructions before filling the SOMAIYA Vidyavihar University 2025 Application Form:

• Application form has been made available in online mode for various UG & PG Courses.
• Candidates are able to apply for the university from 15th January 2025 for B.Tech courses.
• Provide correct details in the application form including personal, academic, address and other carefully.

• The last date to submit registration form is till 5th May 2025 for B.Tech (Round I) and or B.Des, candidates can submit their form till 1st March 2025.

How to Apply for SVU 2025 Admission

Here are the steps by step process to apply for SVU 2025 Admission:

• Visit the SOMAIYA Vidyavihar University website (link is available above).
• Click on the ‘Apply Now’ button.
• Submit the basic details for registration including mobile number, date of birth etc. & note down the login credentials received.
• Now click on the login button & fill the application form by providing details such as personal, academic etc.

SOMAIYA Vidyavihar University 2025 Eligibility

Candidates must satisfy the given SOMAIYA Vidyavihar University Eligibility Criteria before applying:

B.Tech:

• Qualification: Candidates must pass 12th or its equivalent from any recognized board.
• Subjects & Marks: In the qualifying exam, candidates must have Physics, English, Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the subjects (Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational Subject) with minimum 45% marks.
• Scores: Students having valid scores in JEE Main/ MHT CET/ CUET UG exam are also eligible.

Other UG Courses:

• Qualifications: Candidates should have passed 12th or its equivalent exam from any recognized board.
• Marks: Aspirants must secure 50% aggregate scores in their qualifying exam.
• Scores: Candidates having valid scores in SVUET/ CUET are also eligible to apply.

M.Tech:

• Qualifications: Aspirants must have Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field of Engineering and Technology.
• Marks: In the qualifying exam, candidates must have 50% marks (45% marks in case of PWD) marks.
• Appearing: Final year appearing candidates can also apply.

SVU 2025 Entrance Exam (SVUET)

SVUET (SOMAIYA Vidyavihar University Entrance Test) is an internet proctored test conducted thrice in the month of April, May and June or July. Candidates who will be shortlisted on the basis of entrance score will be called for portfolio interview.

University conducts this entrance test for various UG & PG courses. Scores of other national level examinations i.e. CUET/ JEE Main/ NATA/ NIFT/ MHT CET will also be accepted by the university for admission.

SVU 2025 Result

SOMAIYA Vidyavihar University 2025 Result will be declared through online mode. It will be announced on different dates according to the exam date. Candidates will be able to get their result from the website using login details.

The result will not be sent to the candidates by the University through any offline mode. Candidates must keep their result/ score card safe for admission.

SVU 2025 Interview/ Admission

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for interview a few days after the declaration of result. Portfolio Interview for admission will be conducted through online mode by Somaiya Vidyavihar University.

Candidates will be selected for admission on the basis of merit combined score of admission and portfolio interview assessment. Candidates who will be shortlisted for admission will have to provide the provisional offer letter to the authority.

Provisional admission will be confirmed only on the basis of payment of seat acceptance fee and document verification.
