MAHE Green Rankings: The Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) has secured the number 1 rank in the Platinum+ Band of the Sustainable Institutions of India (The Green Rankings 2025).
Green Rankings is held by R. World Institutional Ranking 2025. The academy has received this rank due to its sustainability efforts and green campus practices.
The factors that are considered by Green ranking to determine ranks are the usage of energy, waste management, water conservation, biodiversity, and sustainability projects.
MAHE’s effective approach to sustainability across its campus is that they have an active rank in the Platinum+ Band. On this achievement, the Lt. Gen. (Dr.) M. D. Venkatesh, VSM (Retd), Vice Chancellor, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, said, “This achievement reflects the dedication and collective efforts of the entire MAHE community.”
