GATE 2025 Correction: The Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee has opened the GATE 2025 application facility for provisional candidates. Link to edit form is available at gate2025.iitr.ac.in
Official website reads that “The defect rectification for provisional candidates is now open up to 12th March 2025. Provisional candidates are instructed to login through GOAPS portal and clear their defects to avoid result withheld.”
Candidates who need to make changes to their GATE application form can log in to the portal by entering the enrollment ID/ email ID and password. The application correction facility was started from 08th March 2025.
The GATE 2025 application form correction facility for other candidates was available from February 27 to March 1st, 2025, and IIT Roorkee conducted the examination on February 1st, 2nd, 15th, and 16th, 2025.
How To Make Changes In GATE 2025 Application
To edit the GATE registration form you need to follow the following steps:
- Go to the GATE 2025 respective website.
- On the homepage, visit the “notification” section.
- Click on the “GOAPs 2025 application portal” option.
- You will be redirected to a new page.
- Enter the required details and click on “login”.
- The GATE application form will appear on the screen.
- Make the required changes and go through the form thoroughly.
- Once done, click on the “save and submit” option.
- Download the form for further use.

Once the window to make correction is closed, the authority will not accept any corrections from the candidates. So GATE aspirants are advised to avail this edit facility within the given periods successfully.
GATE 2025 result will be released on 19th March 2025 through online mode and candidates will be able to download the scorecard from 28th March to 31st May 2025. From 1st June to 31st December 2025, candidates can download the scorecard by paying a fee of Rs.500 per test paper.
