AMU 2026 Application Form

Candidates must go through the below details before filling of AMU Application Form 2026:

  • The university will release the application form in first week of January 2026 for B.Tech courses.
  • Online registration will be started in fourth week of February 2026 through CUET UG.
  • The registration form for AMU 2026 will be made available through online mode.
  • Students should meet the eligibility criteria before filling the registration form.
  • Applicants will have to enter their name, email ID, mobile number, qualifying exam details, address details accurately.
  • Upload scanned documents like passport size photograph, signature, thumb impression in the given specifications.
  • Application correction facility will also be provided by the authority for a limited period.
  • Students will be able to fill the registration form till second week of January 2026 for AMUEEE and till third week of March 2026 for CUET UG exam.

Application Fee:

  • AMU 2026 Application fee will be deposited via both via online and offline mode.
  • The registration fee for AMU Entrance exam will be Rs. 100/-.

How to Register for AMU 2026

  • Step-2: Register on the website & generate a login ID.
  • Step-3: Login to the portal and fill in application form with personal and educational details along with exam centre preferences.

  • Step-5: Cross-check the filled details and click the “Save and Continue” button.
  • Step-6: Now, pay the application fee through prescribed mode.

AMU 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants should satisfy all the AMU Eligibility Criteria 2026 as given below:

Through CUET-UG:

  • Age Limit: There will be no age bar to apply.
  • Nationality: Applying students must be Indian nationals.
  • Qualification: Applicants must have completed 12th or its equivalent examination from any recognised school/ board.
  • Appearing: Candidates appearing for the qualifying exam will also be eligible.

Through AMU:

  • Qualification: Applicants must have passed the 12th class or Diploma in Engineering (or its equivalent).
  • Marks: A minimum of 50% aggregate marks will be required to be eligible.
  • Subjects: Students should pass qualifying exam with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, and English as mandatory subjects.
  • Selection: Admission will be offered through admission test.
For MBA
  • Qualification: Aspirants must have completed graduation in any field to be eligible to apply.
  • Age: The age of applicants must not exceed 27 years as on 1st July 2026.
  • Marks: One must score at least 50% marks in aggregate to be eligible.
  • Selection: Students will be selected for admission based on admission test.

AMU 2026 Exam Pattern

For AMUEEE (B.Tech):

  • Exam Mode: Exam will be held in an offline paper-based format.
  • Sections: The exam will consist of three sections: Physics, Chemistry, & Mathematics.
  • Duration: Test-takers will have 3 hours to complete the exam.
  • Question Types: Question paper will be composed of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
  • Total Questions: A total of 150 questions will be included in the exam.
  • Marking scheme: For each correct answer 1 mark will be given and 25% negative marking will be done for each incorrect answer.

For CUET UG Exam:

  • Exam Mode: Entrance exam will be conducted via online mode only.
  • Shifts: The examination will be held in multiple days in three shifts.
  • Duration: Students will get 60 minutes for each question.
  • Total Questions: Question paper will contain 100 questions.
  • Type of Questions: Applicants will be asked Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) in the exam.
  • Medium: The exam will be available in 13 languages.
  • Marking Scheme: Each correct response will be given 5 marks and 1 mark will be deducted for incorrect response.

AMU 2026 Admit Card

AMU 2026 Admit card will be issued to all the successfully registered applicants through online mode on the portal. Students will be able to download their hall tickets in first week of May 2026 for CUET-UG exam. 

Applicants will have to download the admit card and paste a passport size photograph in the space given on it. Without a valid admit card and photo identity proof, students will not be able to sit for the examination.

AMU 2026 Answer Key

After the conclusion of exam, the authority will release the draft answer key via online mode in fourth week of May 2026 for CUET-UG. Candidates who have doubts about any answer should challenge it online within 48 hours of release of AMU answer key 2026.

A non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 100 will be charged for each challenged answer. The university’s committee of subject experts will verify the challenges and the decision made will be final. The results will be prepared and declared based on the revised answer key.

AMU 2026 Result

AMU Result 2026 will be announced after the release for final answer key. Candidates will be able to check their via online mode in month of June 2026 through login. The result will consist of candidate’s details such as name, roll number, qualifying status and their rank.

Candidates who qualify the exam with required scores will be considered for participation in further counselling & admission procedures. It will be suggested to applicants to keep their result safe for future uses.

AMU 2026 Cut Off

AMU 2026 cut off will be the least required marks that applicants should obtain in the entrance exam. The authority will release the cut off scores separately for different courses and categories through online mode.

AMU Cut Off 2026 will be calculated based on several determinants such as number of students appearing, difficulty level of exam, past year cut off trends, reservation, marks obtained in qualifying exam etc. 

AMU 2026 Counselling

AMU Counselling Procedure 2026 will be organised in the month of June/ July 2026 through online mode only. Candidates selected/ short-listed for admission will be required to register for Counselling on the portal. 

The university will organise the counselling session in various stages such as online registration, seat allotment, document verification and reporting. Candidates should clearly specify their order of choice preference of Course/ Branch. 

The lists of candidates shortlisted for Interview/ GD round will be displayed on the website. Selected applicants will have to download their allotment letter and physically report to the allocated venue with original documents in order to confirm their seats.
