The National Testing Agency has decided to provide candidates with the facility of the JEE Main correction window. Today a notice regarding the same has been released.

JEE Main 2025 session 2 application process is ongoing. It started on 02nd February and the last day to apply is 25th February 2025.

While filling out the JEE Main application form some candidates made mistakes and afterwards requested NTA to provide a correction facility. Considering the candidate’s request the authority has decided to move from the edit facility to candidates.

The JEE Main correction window will be available for 2 days from 27th February to 28th February 2025 up to 11:50 pm at jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Candidates should note that this is a one-time facility and not all the fields are allowed to be modified with this edit facility. Once candidates have made changes and clicked on the submit option no requests will be accepted by the authority.

Can We Correct JEE Main Application Form?

Yes, candidates can make corrections to their JEE application form, but all the fields are not editable only a few fields are editable. Check below the  list of editable & non-editable fields:

1Existing candidates i.e. candidates who are already registered during the registration period of JEE (Main) – 2025 Session 1 (28th October to 22nd Nov 2025) and who have also applied for Session 2 (2nd to 25th February 2025)Candidates are allowed to edit or modify the following:

  • Course (Paper)
  • Medium of Question Paper
  • State Code of Eligibility
  • Examination Cities (as per the available options)
  • Educational qualification details (Classes 10 & 12)
  • Gender
  • Category
  • Fee Payment (if applicable)

Note: Correction in these fields will be applicable only after payment of an additional fee, if any.

2For new candidates, who applied for Session 2 only during the period from 2nd February to 25th February 2025Candidates shall NOT be allowed to change:

  • Mobile Number
  • E-Mail Address
  • Address (Permanent and Present)
  • Emergency Contact details
  • Photograph of candidate
Candidate shall be allowed to change any one of the fields:

  • Candidate Name/Father Name/Mother Name

Candidates shall be allowed to change/add all the following fields:

  • Educational qualification details (Class 10 & Class 12)
  • State Code of Eligibility
  • Date of Birth
  • Gender
  • Category
  • Sub-category / PwD
  • Signature
  • Paper
Candidates shall be allowed to change the following based on their Permanent and Present addresses:

  • Examination City Selection & Medium of the exam

Candidates while editing their JEE application will have to pay additional fees if required. Only after the completion of the payment aspirants can correct. Candidates whose forms will be accepted by the authority will be eligible to take the JEE Main 2025 exam between 01st to 08th April 2025.
