Students should meet the Rajasthan Polytechnic Eligibility Criteria 2026 as given below:
General Eligibility:
- Age Limit: There will be no age limit prescribed to be eligible to apply.
For Diploma in Engineering:
- Qualification: Candidates must have passed 10th grade from the RBSE or an equivalent board.
- Subjects: In the qualifying examination, students must have science and mathematics as mandatory subjects.
- Marks: A minimum of 35% marks must be secured in their qualifying examination.
For Diploma in Non-Engineering:
- Qualification: It will be mandatory to pass 10th standard from any recognised board.
- Marks: Applicants must score a minimum of 35% marks to be eligible to apply.
For Diploma in Engineering (Lateral Entry):
- Qualification: Students should pass 12th examination in Science vocational/ technical or 10 (+2 year ITI) with specialisation in relevant fields or 10+2 with PCM from RBSE/ CBSE Delhi or equivalent board.

Rajasthan Polytechnic 2026 Counselling/ Admission
Rajasthan Polytechnic 2026 Counselling/ Admission Procedure will be conducted via online mode in multiple rounds. The first seat allotment will be released in third week of July 2026. Selection will be based on merit rank and available seats. Candidates will have to clear the interview process to be allotted seats in the institute.
Candidates who will be assigned an institution/ branch must appear with their parents at the nodal center within the stipulated time to verify their original documents. They will also need to deposit a partial admission fee of Rs. 1000/- through prescribed mode.
