GCET 2026 Application Form

Know the important instructions related to GCET Application Form 2026 below:

  • Applicants will be able to fill the GCET 2026 application form through online & offline mode.
  • The registration process will begin in second week of May 2026 for all courses.
  • Students should provide their personal, qualification and other requested details accurately.
  • A passport size photograph of applicants must be affixed on the application form.
  • Ensure to fill the application form completely and carefully as no correction facility will be provided after final submission.
  • The deadline for submitting the application form will be till fourth week of May 2026.
  • Applicants must retain a hard copy of their application for future reference.

Application Fee:

  • GCET 2026 Application Fee will be remitted via both offline and online mode.
  • Payment will be accepted through debit card/credit card/net banking or by cash.
  • Students will be required to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs.1800/-.

How to Apply for GCET 2026

Here, we have given the steps by step instructions to fill GCET 2026 application form:

  • Step-1: Go to the DTE, Goa website. (link will be given above)
  • Step-2: Tap on the “Admission” option and select the admission level.
  • Step-3: Click “GCET 2026 Application Form” link.
  • Step-4: Take a print of the application form PDF.
  • Step-5: Go through the instructions carefully and fill the printed application form.
  • Step-6: Affix a recent passport size photograph and other necessary documents on the application form.
  • Step-7: Also attach a hardcopy of the Demand draft receipt.
  • Step-8: Lastly, submit the application form personally at the admission office.

GCET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Nationality: Indian nationals or NRI/OCI/PIO candidates with Indian passports will be eligible to apply.

For B.E Courses:

  • Qualification: Applicants should have passed HSSC or equivalent examination from Goa Board or have passed Diploma in Engineering & Technology.
  • Subjects: One must have passed 12th level with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Biology/Technical Vocational etc.
  • Marks: Applicants must have secured atleast 45% marks (40% marks for the applicants belonging to SC, ST and OBC only) in qualifying examination
  • Scores: Students must have a valid scorecard of JEE Main exam to apply.

For B.Pharm:

  • Qualification: Applicants should have passed the 12th grade examination from Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination.
  • Subjects: Candidates must have qualified 12th examination with Physics & Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics/Biology subjects.
  • Scores: One must have obtained valid Score/Rank in JEE Main or NEET exam.

For MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS AHS & BNYS Courses:

  • Age: Candidates must be 17 years as on or before 31st December 2026 to be eligible.
  • Qualification: Students should have completed HSSC or equivalent examination from Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.
  • Subjects: One must have Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects along with English in 12th level. 
  • Marks: A minimum of 50% marks (40% marks for SC, ST and OBC, and 45% marks for PwD category, for MBBS and BDS Course) must be obtained in 12th level exam.
  • Scores: To apply for admission, students must hold a valid scorecard of NEET UG exam.

GCET 2026 Admission Procedure

GCET Admission Procedure 2026 will be organised for all the registered candidates seeking admission into professional degree courses in Goa state. All the applicants will be selected for admission based on merit list of national level entrance exam scores such as JEE Main/ NEET/ NATA etc. 

To secure admission in desired courses, students will have to go through various stages such as registration, form filling, choices filling, payment of fee, document verification etc. Final admission will be given after reporting at the allotted institutes for document verification and payment of admission fee.

GCET 2026 Merit List

GCET Merit List 2026 will be prepared separately for various courses based on their scores in national level exams like JEE Main, NEET and NATA. The authority will publish the merit list of selected candidates through online mode on the website.

Students will be able to check the merit list in month of June/July 2026. The merit list will be evaluated based on NEET UG scores for medical courses and on JEE Main AIR for B.E course. 

For B.Pharm admissions, percentile scores of JEE-Main or NEET exam will be considered. Students applying for B.Arch admission will be selected in merit list based on 50:50 weightage for NATA score and aggregate marks in qualifying examination.

GCET 2026 Cut Off

Each participating institute will release its own cut off marks for different courses via online mode. To be eligible, candidates must score greater than or equal to the minimum cut off marks in the GCET 2026 exam.

GCET Cut Off 2026 will be released category wise for various courses after the result declaration. It will be decided based on various determinants such as number of students applied, performance in qualifying exam, reservation criteria, seats available etc.

GCET 2026 Counselling

GCET 2026 Counseling process will be organised by the competent authority based on the merit list. Candidates seeking admission must participate in all rounds of admission and counselling, which will be tentatively commenced in month of August 2026. 

While reporting for admission, students should choose their preferred institutes/courses from the available options, according to their merit ranking. Seat allocation will be merely based on the rank secured by applicants in entrance exam and choices of institutes/ courses filled. Admission will be considered final only after submission of original documents and payment of required fees.
