JKCET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants must fulfill given JKCET Eligibility Criteria 2026 before applying:

  • Domicile: Students must hold a domicile certificate of UT of J&K or an ST certificate issued by competent authority of UT of Ladakh.
  • Age: There will be no upper age bar to apply for JKCET 2026 exam.
  • Qualifying Exam: Applicants should pass 10+2 or an equivalent examination from a recognized board/university.
  • Subjects: It will be compulsory to pass 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects.
  • Minimum Marks: Applicants must obtain at least 45% marks (40% marks for reserved category candidates).
  • Appearing: Candidates appearing in 10+2 examination will also be able to apply for JKCET 2026.

JKCET 2026 Answer Key

After conclusion of entrance exam, JKCET Answer key 2026 will be displayed via online mode. It will be released in second week of June 2026 on the website.

Candidates will be able to challenge discrepancies in answer key within three working days along with supporting documents by submitting Rs. 1000/- for each question to be challenged. Expert opinions on objections will be final and result will be declared based on the same.

JKCET 2026 Result

JKCET Result 2026 will be declared via online mode in fourth week of June 2026. Candidates will be able to access their result from the website using their registration number and date of birth.

A merit list of JKCET 2026 exam will also be published, in which the names of shortlisted candidates who will secure higher ranks in 12th level or JKCET 2026 entrance exam will be mentioned.

JKCET 2026 Cut Off

JKCET 2026 cut off marks will be the minimum score required by candidates to qualify for further admission procedures. Students will be able to check cut off scores via online mode after the declaration of result.

JKCET 2026 Counselling/Admission

Students must participate in counselling sessions, as it will be a crucial step in the process of selection. In the JKCET Counselling 2026, candidates will be given an opportunity of exercising their choice preferences of disciplines/institutions. The counselling sessions will begin in fourth week of June 2026, tentatively.

Candidates must select multiple choices of disciplines/institutions, in which they want to join in order of preference. Candidates must be physically present for counselling along with all original documents and counselling fee payment receipt of Rs.1500/-.
