For B.Tech Courses:
- Qualification: One should have completed their 12th class or equivalent examination from any recognized board.
- Marks: Applicants must have secured a minimum aggregate of 45% (40% for OBC/SC/ST candidates) in their qualifying exam.
- Subjects: Students must have passed 12th level with Physics & Mathematics and any one of Chemistry, Computer Science, Information Practices subjects.
For MBBS/BDS/BPT Programme:
- Qualification: Applicants must complete their 12th or equivalent examination from a recognised board.
- Marks: Aspirants will need to score at least 50% aggregate marks (40% marks in case of OBC/MBC/EBC/BT/SC/ST) in the qualifying examination.
- Subjects: One must have passed the qualifying examinations with subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Botany/Zoology.

CENTAC 2026 Merit List
CENTAC merit list 2026 will be released through online mode in second week of July 2026. The merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained in the HSC or its equivalent qualifying examination or in NEET/ JEE examinations, taking into account the reservation policy of U.T. of Puducherry.
The authority will publish a draft merit list, allowing students to raise objections. After addressing the raised objections, the final merit list of CENTAC 2026 will be published on the website.

CENTAC 2026 Counselling
The entire counseling process of CENTAC 2026 will be conducted via online mode. Online allotment of seats will be done based on applicant’s course preferences, seat categories, reservation criteria and NEET rank. Candidates will need to indicate their willingness to participate in counselling and pay the registration fee.
CENTAC 2026 counselling procedure will be held from the last week of July 2026.
