- Required Exam Day Documents
GATE 2025 admit card was released on 7th January 2025. Candidates on the exam day are required to carry one hard copy of it along with one valid photo ID proof (Aadhar card, driving license, passport, PAN card, etc). Photograph of the aspirant should be visible on the admit card as well as ID proof. If it is not candidates are required to carry two passport-size photos. - Know Your Exam Center & Timing
Complete exam timing and dates have been officially announced by the authority. Candidates are advised to go through it very carefully and reach the exam center on time. - Do not carry Prohibited Items Inside the Exam Center
No candidate is allowed to carry any electronic devices (phone, earphone, smartwatch, etc), jewelry, accessories, bag, and other personal belongings at the exam center. You can only carry the required document and pen. - Familiarize Yourself with the Virtual Calculator
A virtual scientific calculator will be provided on-screen. Practice using it during mock tests to avoid wasting time during the exam. - Stay Informed and Adhere to Safety Guidelines
At the exam center from a safety perspective, you are required to carry a face mask, a water bottle that should be transparent, and hand sanitizer.
