CBSE 2025 Board Exam Syllabus Updates: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has recently released a notice on its respective website regarding the syllabus for the upcoming board examination session 2025- 2026.
The board has clarified that the syllabus for the 2025-2026 session will not be reduced by 15% and confirmed there will be no changes to the board examinations or internal assessment system for the upcoming session.
Additionally, CBSE has stated that there will be no open-book exams for any courses in the 2025-2026 session.
Is the CBSE Board 2025 Syllabus Changing?
As per earlier reports, CBSE’s regional officer in Bhopal, Vikas Kumar Agarwal, stated in a conference titled “Bridging Gap” that the board had announced a 15% syllabus reduction for Classes 10 and 12 in 2025.
However, no written information has been provided regarding this. To clear the confusion, CBSE released an official statement on November 14, 2024, confirming that there will be no reduction or addition to the syllabus for the 2025 session. The syllabus for the board examination classes 10th and 12th will remain the same.
The board has also said that all the candidates and teachers should note not to rely on any of the fake news being spread over the internet and only contact the schools and authorities to confirm any information.

- Go to the CBSE official website.
- You will enter the website’s homepage.
- Click on the “Curriculum” option.
- Select “Curriculum 2024- 2025” option.
- You will be redirected to a new page.
- Select the board exam class and tap on it.
- A syllabus pdf will appear on the screen.

The board has not yet released the datasheet for the 2025 CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 exams. However, the board mentioned when releasing the 2024 session results that the exams are expected to begin on February 15, 2025.
