CUET PG 2025 Eligibility Criteria
CUET PG 2025 Eligibility criteria for various programs will vary as per the universities. Candidates are advised to satisfy the eligibility criteria laid down by the participating university for which they are applying for.
Applicants will be required to meet the basic eligibility requirements to apply for CUET PG 2025 as mentioned below:
- Nationality: All candidates who resides in India or outside India are eligible to apply.
- Age Limit: There will be no bar for candidates age to be eligible to apply for CUET PG exam.
- Qualification: Applying candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent examination to apply for admission.
- Appearing: Those candidates who will be appearing for their qualifying examination in 2025 irrespective of their age will also be eligible to apply for exam.
Reservation Criteria
As per the rules prescribed by Government of India, reservation criteria for Indian Nationals belonging to certain categories will be as given:
General category belonging to Economically Weaker Section (GEN- EWS):
- 10% of seats will be reserved
- A certificate of GEN-EWS category will be required which should be issued on or after 1st April 2024.
Other Backward Classes belonging to the Non-Creamy Layer (OBC- NCL:
- 27% of seats will be reserved
- Candidates will be required to submit an OBC-NCL certificate which must be issued on or after 1st April 2024.
Scheduled Caste (SC):
- 15% of seats will be reserved
- A caste certificate for candidates belonging to Schedule caste category will be required.
Scheduled Tribe (ST):
- 7.5% of seats reserved
- Candidates who belong to Scheduled Tribes will have to submit an ST certificate.
Persons with Disability (PwD):
- 5% of seats will be reserved for each of General, Gen-EWS, OBC-NCL, SC and ST category seats.
- Pwd category candidates will be required to submit a UDID (Unique Disability ID) Card/Swavalamban Card issued by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment as a proof for Disability.
- Only those applicants who have at least 40% impairment irrespective of type of disability will be eligible for the benefit of PwD category.
- Applicants with less than 40% disability but face difficulty in writing will also be included in this category.

- Application form for CUET PG 2025 will be released through online mode in fourth week of December 2024.
- Applicants must provide their working mobile number and email ID during registration, as all the communication details will be sent on the same.
- Candidates must fill in application form with required details i.e. personal, academic qualification, communication and address details.
- Each and every document must be uploaded as per the specified size and format.
- Students are requested to cross-check all details in their application form very carefully, as no correction will be permitted once the correction window will closed.
