• The Mumbai University application form 2025 has been released through online mode.
• Applicants are able to fill registration form from 24th April 2025 for UG Admission.
• One must fulfill all eligibility criteria norms before filling the application form.

Mumbai University 2025 Eligibility Criteria

The following are the eligibility criteria of Mumbai University 2025:

For UG Courses:

• Qualification: Students should have passed class 12th or equivalent from any recognized board.
• Subject: Candidats must have Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Mathematics in class 12th to be eligible.
• Marks: To be eligible, candidates will need to secure at least 45% marks (40% marks for reserved category).
• Appearing: Applicants appearing in qualifying exam in 2025 are also able to apply. 

For PG Courses:

• Qualification: Candidates should have bachelor’s degree in any discipline from any recognized university or board.
• Marks: In qualifying exam, students must score at least 50% marks (45% marks for reserved category)
• Appearing: Students appearing in qualifying exam will be eligible to apply. 

Mumbai University 2025 Admission Procedure 

The admission procedure of Mumbai University 2025 will be based on marks obtained in qualifying exam or university level entrance exam. Shortlisted candidates will be called for final admission procedure. 

Applicants will be selected for admission on the basis of the merit list drawn by the authority. The admission process will consist of multiple steps such as completion of application form, eligibility, examination and counselling.

Mumbai University 2025 Entrance Exam 

The university conducts entrance exams to provide admission in Management and Law programmes. For Management courses, MUCMET will be conducted and for Law courses, MUCLAT will be conducted. Admission in other UG and PG programmes will be offered through merit list.

These exams will be conducted through offline mode. Candidates will get two hours to complete the paper. The question paper will contain Multiple Choice Questions, no subjective questions will be asked in exam. Students who successfully registered themselves will be able to give entrance exam.

Mumbai University 2025 Result

Mumbai University Result 2025 will be announced by the authority through online mode. The university will declare the result in the form of merit list. The merit list will contain the name and ranks of students who qualify the entrance exam.

Candidates will be able to check the merit list in the fourth week of June 2025. Applicants are advised to keep the result safe until the admission procedure gets over. Different merit lists will be drawn for different category candidates. 

Mumbai University 2025 Counselling

The Mumbai University Counselling 2025 will be organized for shortlisted candidates. Candidates will need to obtain minimum cut off marks to be eligible for admission procedure. The seats will be allotted to candidates on the basis of merit list. 

Counselling procedure will contain various steps such as registration, choice filling, seat allotment, document verification and reporting. Selected students must report at the allotted centre with required documents to complete the admission process.
