SASTRA University (Shanmugha Arts, Science, Technology & Research Academy) is a private and self-financing deemed university recognized by the UGC. SASTRA University has been established in the year 1984. It was previously known as the Shanmugha College of Engineering. The University runs the school of law that offers BCI approved integrated law courses.
Campus:
The University is situated in the town Thirumalaisamudram in Thanjavur, the district of Tamil Nadu. The campus is spread over in 168 acres of land. The campus is well accessible from the nearby cities.
