Haryana Polytechnic is also known as Haryana DET. No entrance exam is conducted to offer admission as the candidates are offered admission on the basis of the merit list. Admission is provided to the candidates on the basis of the scores of qualifying examination. Selected candidates will get admission into various Government and Private institutions across Haryana state.

• Step 3: Do registration by entering basic information such as name, email id, mobile number etc.
• Step 4: A verification OTP will be sent to registered mobile number.
• Step 5: Generated user Id and password will be sent to registered id and mobile number.
• Step 6: Login by entering user id and password and start filing application form.

Candidates must go through the Haryana DET eligibility criteria mentioned below:

Diploma Engineering Courses:

• Qualification: Applicants must have passed class 10th/ SSC exam from any recognised board.
• Subject: To be eligible, students should have Science and Mathematics as mandatory subjects in qualifying exam.
• Appearing: Candidates appearing in final year in 2025 will also be eligible to apply.

Diploma Engineering (lateral) courses:

• Qualification: Students should have qualified class 12th or equivalent from any recognised board.
• Subject: In qualifying exam, students must have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as mandatory subjects along with any one of the subjects- Computer, Information Technology, Science, Agriculture, Business Studies etc.
• Appearing: Candidates appearing in qualifying exam will be eligible to apply.

Non Engineering Diploma Courses:

• Qualification: Applicants must have passed class 12th from a recognised board.
• Subject: To be eligible, candidates must have Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Mathematics in qualifying exam.

Haryana DET 2025 Merit List

The Haryana DET merit list 2025 will be published through online mode. Candidates will be able to check it in the fourth week of August 2025. The authority will prepare a separate merit list for different courses. 

The merit list will be prepared on the basis of subject- wise and aggregate percentage, number of candidates applied etc. Students will be able to appear for counselling on the basis of merit list. According to the merit rank, candidates will be called for counselling procedure.

Haryana DET 2025 Cut Off

The Haryana DET cut off marks 2025 are minimum qualifying marks which students must obtain to be eligible for counselling procedure. Applicants will be able to check the cut off marks through online mode. It is mandatory to obtain the minimum cut off marks set to get admission.

Haryana DET 2025 Counselling

The Haryana DET counselling 2025 will be organised after a few days of declaration of result and cut off. Candidates will be able to participate in counselling in the first week of September 2025 for Engineering Diploma courses. For Non- Engineering Diploma courses, candidates will be able to participate in the first week of November 2025. 

Applicants will be called for Haryana DET counselling on the basis of the merit list. The counselling will contain various rounds such as registration, choice preferences, enrolment formality etc. The seats will be provided to students on the basis of their performance in entrance exam. Candidates must carry all the required documents for verification process at the time of counselling.
