Courses Offered

PU offers various courses under Undergraduate & Postgraduate programmes. It has 25 departments under Science & Technology, 21 departments under Humanities, 7 interdisciplinary study faculties and two departments under management & commerce. Admission also offered in courses such as M.A Economics, M.A English, M.Sc. Biotechnology, M.A Mass communication, M.Com & LL.M Programmes. PU also conducts an Online Entrance Exam (OEE) in 2024.

Candidates must check following details regarding Pune University 2024 Application Form:

• Pune University 2024 Application Form has been released through online or offline mode
• Candidates are able to submit application form from 20th April 2024 till 10th May 2024.
• While filling application form, do not forget to upload scanned images & signature in prescribed format & size.
• Candidates have to provide working email ID & phone number as all communication details has sent to it.
• Incomplete or incorrect details in the form leads to rejection, so make sure it is valid/ working in any case.
• Students must make sure to submit application fee within given time period as form has been accepted only after fee submission.
• At last, students must take printout of filled in application form for future use.

Application Fee:

• The application fee is paid via online or offline mode. 
• Online Mode of payment includes credit card, debit card & net banking.
• For offline mode, challan method is used.
• General category candidates have to submit Rs. 600/- as their application fee.
• The application fee for reserved category candidates is of Rs. 400/-.
• In any case, application fee is non-refundable.

How to Apply for Pune University

Candidates must check following steps while applying for Pune University 2024 via online mode:

• Visit official website & click on “Admission Portal”
• Click on, “PG Admission” tab
• At admission tab, candidates is provided course details by clicking on respective department names.
• Click on “Sign up” tab.
• Enter basic & communication details in the form.
• Students received an OTP via SMS & email.
• With the help of OTP, proceed to submit other details in form
• Now upload passport size photograph, signature & other required documents in prescribed size & format.
• Re-check complete details in the form
• After verification, proceed to submit application fee as per your category
• Once fee is submitted, take printout of filled in form
• Keep it safe till future use

Pune University 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must check following eligibility norms regrading Pune University 2024:

• Qualification: Candidates must have qualified 12th level examination from any recognized board or university.
• Percentage: Students must have scored minimum 60% marks for general category & 55% marks for reserved category to be eligible.
• Appearing: One appearing in qualifying exam are also eligible to apply for PU 2024.

Pune University 2024 Entrance Exam

Pune University 2024 organizes Online Entrance Exam (OEE). The examination has been conducted via online mode. Candidates are given 2 hours to solve the exam. Question paper consists of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).

The admission is given to candidates on the basis of entrance exam scores & on merit basis. There is total 100 questions in the question paper & of total 100 marks. For each correct answer, 1 mark is given & no marks is deducted for an incorrect answer.

Pune University 2024 Admission Procedure includes various steps such as registration, fee payment, merit scores and then counselling. Complete admission is given to candidates on the basis of merit scores. Performance in entrance exam is also considered during admission process.

For admission in SPPU, JEE Main scores is considered. Final admission is given to candidates after counselling fee payment & document verification.

Pune University 2024 Merit List/ Result

The Pune University 2024 Merit List has been released via online mode. Candidates can download it via pdf format. Also, authority has release result in the form of score card for candidates who have appeared in the entrance exam. Candidates have to use their login credentials such as application number & password to download result.

Result contains all details such as candidate’s name, roll number, D.O.B, marks obtained in each subject and result status. Further, qualified candidates have to participate in the counselling process mandatory.

Pune University 2024 Counselling process is held via online mode. Counselling procedure includes various steps such as registration, seat allotment, choice filling, etc.

All qualified candidates have to mandatory participate in counselling procedure. Though, admission is given to candidates after documents verification of  & fee submission. The following documents are required at the time of admission:
