- CUET 2026 Application Form will be made available via online mode. No other mode will be entertained.
- The registration process for CUET UG & CUET PG will be released separately .
- Students are advised to go through complete brochure including eligibility norms before applying for CUET examination.
- One must mot forget to upload passport size photograph & signature in prescribed format & size.
- Candidates must ensure that information provided in form are correct. Edit option will be provided for few particulars only.
- Information provided by candidates like the Name of candidate, contact details, address details, category, gender, PwBD status, educational qualification details, Date of Birth, choice of exam cities will be treated as final.
- Students must make sure they provide valid/ working mail ID & phone number as all communication details will be sent to it.
- During registration, candidates will have to submit any four cities of their choice.
- Candidates are advised to fill only one application form as more than one will lead to rejection of candidature.
- The entire application form will be online including uploading of images/ document & fee submission. No candidate will be required to send it via post/ couries or any offline medium.

How to Apply for CUET
Check following procedure while applying for CUET examination:
- Visit official website of CUET UG.
- Register for the online application form & note down system generated application number
- Create a password, choose security question & answer it.
- Now login using system generated application no. & pre-created password
- Enter other asked & required details in the form
- Upload scanned image of photograph & signature
- Re-check the given details in the form
- Now submit application fee as per courses & category.
- A confirmation page will appear on your computer screen
- Take its printout & keep safe till future use.
CUET 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must check following eligibility norms before applying for CUET 2026:
- Qualification: Candidates who have passed 12th or appearing in 12th in year of admission will be eligible for CUET UG.
- Age Limit: There will be no age limit to apply for CUET 2026.
- Nationality: Indian National citizen will be eligible to apply.
Note: Candidates will be required fulfill the eligibility norms as per university/ institution/ organization in which they wish to take admission.
CUET 2026 Exam Pattern
Check following details regarding CUET 2026 Exam Pattern:
- Exam Mode: CUET 2026 examination will be held in Hybrid (Computer/ pen & paper based) mode.
- Medium: Examination will be conducted in 13 languages as Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi, Odia, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
- Questions Type: Question paper will be asked in Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) type.
- Subjects: There will be total 61 subjects (33 languages, 27 domain-specific, and 01 General Test).
- Choice of test paper: One will have to choose maximum 06 Test papers (04 or 05 domain subjects including General Test and 01 or 02 languages).
- Total Questions: 40 out of 50 questions for all test papers and 50 out of 60 for the General Test.
- Duration: The examination will be conducted on multiple days in two or three shifts per day, depending on the number of candidates and their combinations.
- Marking Scheme: For each correct answer, +5 marks will be awarded.
- Negative marking: -1 mark will be deducted for every wrong attempt.
CUET 2026 Syllabus
CUET 2026 syllabus will include 61 subjects which consists of 33 languages, 27 domain-specific, and 01 General Test.
Language – Language to be tested through Reading Comprehension (based on different types of passages–Factual, Literary and Narrative, and Literary Aptitude and Vocabulary.
General Test– It includes General Knowledge, Current Affairs, General Mental Ability, Numerical Ability, Quantitative Reasoning (Simple application of basic mathematical concepts Arithmetic / Algebra / Geometry / Mensuration / Statistics), Logical and Analytical Reasoning.
Domain Subjects: There will be 29 domain subjects. Syllabus for each subject will be released via pdf format. We will update it in our article when updated officially.
CUET Preparation Tips

CUET 2026 Admit Card
CUET 2026 Admit Card will be released via online mode. Candidates will have to use their login credentials to download hall ticket. The e- admit card will be issued provisionally by NTA. It will consists of all details such as candidate’s name, roll number, exam date, time, venue & exam instructions.
NTA will first publish exam city slip & then hall ticket for CUET UG 2026. It will be mandatory for all candidates to carry admit card along with one ID proof at examination centre. Candidates are advised to go through all details in the admit card, in case of any error, one should contact officials.
CUET 2026 Answer Key
CUET 2026 Answer Key will be published by NTA via online mode. It will be released in first week of May 2026. Authority will first publish provisional answer key. Candidates will be given an option to make challenges against answer key by submitting Rs. 200/- per question. One must know that fee will be non-refundable.
Once objection period gets over, authority will publish final answer key. It will be also released via online mode. Furthet, result will be published on the basis of final answer key.
CUET 2026 Result
CUET 2026 Result will be released via online mode. It will be released in last week of June 2026. Candidates must know that result will be prepared on the basis of final answer key. CUET 2026 Result/ Scores will be used by other organization as per their eligibility.
NTA does not play any role to publish CUET 2026 Result. It will contain all details such as candidate’s name, roll number, marks scored individually & qualifying status. No score card will be given to candidate via post or any other offline medium.
CUET 2026 Counselling
CUET 2026 Counselling will be held separately for every participating institutes. It will be mandatory for all qualified candidates to participate in the counselling session.
The selection and admission will be subject to fulfilling the admission criteria, eligibility, rank in the merit list, medical fitness, document verification and such other criteria as may be prescribed by the University.
