- The application form for JEE Advanced 2025 will be released via online mode. No other mode will be entertained.
- JEE Advanced 2025 Registration process will commence from first to last week of April 2025.
- While filling application form, candidates must not forget to submit passport size photograph & signature in prescribed format.
- Authority will also provide correction facility to rectify mistakes (if any) in the application form.
- All communication details will be sent to registered number & mail ID, so it must be valid/ working.

JEE Advanced 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must check following eligibility norms before applying for JEE Advanced 2025:
- Nationality: Indian National including OCI/PIO will be eligible to apply for the exam. Foreign candidates will also be able to apply under 10% the supernumerary seat quota.
- Qualification: One must qualify 12th level examination in 2023, 2024 & 2025 from any recognized board or university.
- Mandatory Subject: To be eligible, one must have Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics(PCM) as a mandatory subjects.
- Percentage: Candidates must score minimum 75% marks in class 12th and at least 65% minimum marks for SC, ST and PWD category candidates.
- Number of Attempts: Candidates will be allowed to give JEE Advanced exam only three times in three consecutive years.
- Age Limit: In case of General and OBC categories, candidates must have been born on or after October 1st, 2000. Five year of age relaxation will be given to the SC/ST/PWD category candidates.
- JEE Main Performance: One must be among the top 2.5 lakh JEE Main qualified candidates to be eligible for JEE Advanced examination.
JEE Advanced 2025 Exam Pattern
The JEE Advanced 2025 Exam Pattern will be as follows:
- Mode of Exam: The exam will be conducted via online (Computer-based test) mode.
- Subjects: The questions will be asked from three subjects – Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics.
- Number of Papers: There will be 2 Papers – 1 & 2 (Both Compulsory).
- Duration: Candidates will be given 3 hours to solve the exam (4 hours for PWD category candidates).
- Type of Questions: There will be Multiple Choice Question (MCQs) in the question paper.
- Language: Questions will be asked in Hindi and English both the languages.
- Marking Scheme: Each section will consists of different marking scheme. Some questions will carry negative marks in case of wrong response.

FAQ’s (Frequently Asked Questions)
JEE Advanced 2025 Admit Card
The JEE Advanced 2025 Admit card will be released via online mode. No other mode will be entertained to download hall ticket. It will contain details such as candidates’ name, roll number, date of birth, exam date, time & venue. In case of any discrepancy in admit card, one must directly contact officials.
Candidates will be able to download in last week of May 2025. It will be mandatory for all candidates to carry admit card along with one ID proof at examination hall.
JEE Advanced 2025 Answer Key
Candidates will be able to download JEE Advanced 2025 Answer Key via online mode. Candidates must keep their login details ready while downloading answer key. It will be published in June 2025. With the help of answer key, candidates will be able to predict their marks even before result declaration.
Candidates will be also allowed to raise objections against answer key (if any). Authority will provide limited time period to make objections. Once objection period will get over, authority will publish final answer key.
JEE Advanced 2025 Result
JEE Advanced 2025 Result will be published via online mode. It will be released in the form of pdf. Candidates must keep visiting the site for same. Result will consist of all details such as candidate’s name, roll number, date of birth, marks scored in each subject, total marks, result status, etc.
The rank secured in the JEE Advanced 2025 exam will be on the basis of admission to IITs. Candidates may also received text SMS on their registered number regarding rank/ result declaration. It will be mandatory for all qualified candidates to participate in the counselling session.
JEE Advanced 2025 Cut Off
JEE Advanced 2025 cut off will be published via online mode. Cut off marks are the minimum marks one have to score to qualify the examination. It depends on various factors such as difficulty level of exam, previous year cut off trends etc. It will be published after result declaration.

All qualified candidates will have to participate in the JEE Advanced 2025 counselling process. It will be organized by JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority).
Students will first have to participate in registration process, then choose the colleges and course as per their JEE Advanced ranks. Candidates will be given admission after verification of documents & fee submission. Following documents will be required at the time of verification:
