Exam is being organised in hybrid mode as per the sources (both offline and online CBT mode). Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is a national level admission test. It is  organised by National Testing Agency (NTA) under Ministry of Education (MoE).

CUET provides admission into various UG & PG level courses for all the Central Universities (CU’s) & Participating Universities in India. CUET is a common platform to all candidates across country and also from rural & remote areas. Candidates are offered admission into various UG & PG level courses. CUET 2024 Answer Key

The answer key of CUET 2024 has been released via online mode on 7th July 2024. No candidates will receive it via post or any other offline medium. First, authority has released the provisional answer key. However, candidates will be also given an option to make objections by submitting Rs. 200/- as non-refundable objection fee.

Once objection period gets over, authority will publish final answer key. One must make sure that result will be on the basis of final answer key.

CUET 2024 Result

CUET UG Result 2024 will be declared by 22nd July 2024. It will be available via online mode. Candidates will have to use their login credentials to download result. In case of any discrepancies, one may contact officials authority.

If any candidate indulges in Unfair means practices, his/ her result will be cancelled. With the help of result, candidate will also be able to check their rank secured, individual marks scored in each subject and qualifying status.

CUET 2024 Cut Off

The cut off criteria for CUET 2024 will be released via online mode. Candidates will have to visit the website to check cut off based as per the university they have applied for. Cut off marks are the minimum marks one have to score to qualify the exam.

Cut off depends on various factors such as no. of candidates appeared for the exam, seats availability, difficulty level of exam, past years criteria etc. Candidates who will score minimum cut off marks will be considered qualified. It will be mandatory for each qualified candidates to participate in the counselling process.

CUET 2024 Counselling

The counselling process will be held separately by each participating university. Only qualified students will be able to participate in the counselling process. Each Participating university will conduct their own counselling process at different dates for UG & PG courses.

Admission will be given to qualified candidates after completing the formalities of the particular university. Fee payment, documents verification & some more steps may be part of counselling.

CUET 2024 Admit Card

CUET 2024 admit card has been issued by the National Testing Agency (NTA). A candidate whose application form has been successfully submitted can download the admit card. In case, he/ she doesn’t get admit card or there is any mistake in it, they must contact officials.

Exam City Slip is available now for various exam dates. Candidates can download CUET UG 2024 hall ticket via online mode 13th May 2024 onwards. It is mandatory for candidates to carry admit card along with one valid ID proof at the exam centre.

CUET 2024 Exam Pattern

Candidates must check following given points regarding CUET 2024 Exam Pattern:

• Exam Mode: CUET UG 2024 exam will be held in hybrid mode (Pen paper and CBT mode).
• Subjects: There will be 63 subjects – 33 language, 29 domain specific and 1 general test.
• Choice of Subjects: Total 6 test papers can be chosen. Students can make choice of either 4 domain subjects, 1 language subject & 1 general test OR 3 domain subjects, 2 language subjects & 1 general test.
• Question Type: The Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ’s) will be asked in the paper.
• Time Duration: 45 minutes for all test papers (except for Accountancy, Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Economics, Computer Science/ Informatics Practices & General Tests which would be 60 minutes).
• Languages: UG level courses will consists of 13 type of languages.
• 13 different medium languages – Hindi, English, Punjabi, Kannada, Marathi, Malayalam, Telugu, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Odia, Tamil, & Urdu
• No. of Sections: There will be 4 sections in the paper as Section IA, Section IB, Section II & Section III.
• Total questions: Students need to attempt 40 out of 50 questions for all test papers and 50 out of 60 for General Test (choice of 10 questions).
• Marking Scheme: Each correct answer will carry +5 marks.
• Negative marking: –1 marks will get deduct for each incorrect answer.

CUET Syllabus 2024

Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2024 Syllabus will consists of topics from class 12th class. Students are advised to prefer NCERT books. Few topics as per each section will be as follows:

In Section IA & IB – Language to be tested through Reading Comprehension (based on different types of passages–Factual, Literary and Narrative [Literary Aptitude & Vocabulary]

For Section II, Domain Subject- Prepare from class 12th syllabus

In Section III– General Knowledge, Numerical Ability, Current Affairs, General Mental Ability,  Quantitative Reasoning (Simple application of basic mathematical concepts arithmetic/algebra geometry/mensuration/stat taught till Grade 8), Logical and Analytical Reasoning.

Note: For general test, candidates will have to attempt 50 questions out of 60. 

For all other subjects (including languages), one have to attempt 35/ 40 questions are to be attempted out of 45/50.

CUET 2024 Application Form

Candidates must check following details given below regarding CUET 2024 application form:

• Candidates can fill the CUET 2024 application form via online mode.
• The registration process starts separately for both UG & PG level courses.
• For CUET-UG, it has been commenced from 27th February 2024.
• The last date to apply for CUET-UG is till 5th April 2024.
• Authority will also provide correction facility from 6th-7th April 2024.
• Multiple application forms are not accepted, so one must only single form.
• Incomplete details in the form lead to rejection, make sure you have completed all asked & required details in the form.
• Candidates are allowed to choose up to 10 subjects for giving the exam. Also, the language for question paper should be chosen while filling the application form (cannot be changed later).
• During registration, students must make sure they fulfil eligibility norms (of particular college) to avoid any kind of rejection.
• All important communication details is sent to registered number & ID, so make sure it is valid/ working.
• While filling application form, candidates will also have to choose 3 exam city preferences as per their choice.
• Once all details are completely filled, candidates must take its printout for future use.

• At the corner of the site, you will see an option for “Sign In.”
• Click on the same option & register yourself.
• Provide basic & communication details.
• Make sure provided email ID & mobile number is valid/ working.
• With the help of OTP, proceed to fill complete application form
• After completing all the details in the form, cross-check them.
• Now upload passport size photograph & signature in the prescribed format.
• Submit the application fee as per no. of courses selected by you
