JEXPO 2024 Fourth Seat Allotment has been released on 27th July 2024. Joint Entrance Examination for Polytechnic (JEXPO) exam has been scrapped. The exam was conducted to provide admission in various Diploma courses. Admission will be done on the basis of marks scored in the qualifying exam.
The admission process is conducted by West Bengal Council of Technical Education & Vocational Education and Skill Development. Candidates will get admission in various polytechnic courses i.e., Engineering, Architecture, Pharmacy courses at Government and Private Colleges across West Bengal state. WB Polytechnic 2024 Counselling
The JEXPO counselling has been commenced from 21st June 2024 through online mode. It is mandatory for all the shortlisted candidates to participate in the counselling process. It is available through online mode.
In the counselling process, candidates have to choose the course and college in which they want to study according to their rank. Authorities also verify the documents at the time of counselling. So, candidates must carry their relevant documents while reporting at the allotted college with required fee.

- JEXPO 2024 Application Form is available through online mode only.
- Candidates must fill the application form with details such as personal, academic details, contact details, etc.
- Applicants are also advised to check the eligibility criteria before filling the application form.
- Application form of JEXPO 2024 has released from 23rd February 2024.

JEXPO 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must check the eligibility criteria for diploma courses given below:
- Nationality: Candidates must be Indian citizen and must be Permanent Resident of West Bengal to be eligible.
- Age Limit: The candidate must born on or before 1st July 2009. No upper age limit.
- Qualification: Applicants must pass 10th class or its equivalent from any recognised board/ institute.
- Subject: In qualifying exam, candidates must pass with Science/Physical Science & Mathematics subjects to be eligible for exam.
- Appearing: Those candidates appearing in final year exam in 2024 are also eligible to apply for exam.

JEXPO 2024 Admit Card (Exam Scrapped)
The admit card for JEXPO 2024 will be available through online mode. To download the JEXPO admit card, candidate have to enter application number and password. Hall tickets will be released in first week of July 2024. The admit card contains details such as exam date, time, venue, roll number, etc.
No candidate is allowed to take the examination without having a valid admit card. After downloading the admit card, it is instructed to check all the details printed on the admit card. With hall ticket candidates must carry one of the valid ID proof such as Aadhar card, PAN Card, passport, etc.
JEXPO 2024 Result/Merit List
The authority has published the merit list in PDF format. Candidates can access the merit list through online mode only. The JEXPO (WB Polytechnic) merit list has been released on 18th June 2024.
Along with the result, candidates who are shortlisted for admission their merit/ rank is made available on the website. Different merit list is released by the authority for various courses. Candidates must take the printout of the result card for further use. The result will not be sent individually to the candidates by mail or any other offline mode.
JEXPO 2024 Exam Pattern (Exam Scrapped)
The exam pattern for JEXPO 2024 is mentioned below:
- Mode of Exam: The exam will be conducted through offline mode.
- Total Marks: The paper will contain total 100 marks.
- Medium: The exam will be in English and Bengali language.
- Type of Questions: The paper will contain multiple choice questions in the paper.
- Duration: The duration of exam will be 2 hours to solve the paper.
- Marking Scheme: 1 mark will be given to candidates for correct answer. There will be no negative marking for wrong answer.
