It is a medical entrance exam conducted at national level. The INI SS counselling will be conducted twice a year in the months of January and July. Admission will be offered in various courses such as DM/ M.Ch/ MD Hospital Administration courses.

INI SS 2025 Counselling

INI SS 2025 Counselling will be organised by the authority from first week of December 2025 for January session. For July session, it will begin in the month of May 2025. The counselling will be being conducted in various rounds including open round. Only the candidates whose name will be listed in the merit list are called for the counselling process.

Counselling is conducted in various rounds and students can participate through online mode only. After seat allotment, admission is regulated by participating institutions in which candidates have applied.

Reservation of Seats

Out of total seats excluding those for Sponsored/ Foreign National candidates’ reservation as per Government of India norms shall be provided to the candidates belonging to the Schedule Castes (SC), Schedule Tribe (ST), Other Backward Classes (Non-creamy layer) and EWS.

  • Schedule Caste (SC): 15%
  • Schedule Tribe (ST): 7.5%
  • OBC: 27%
  • EWS: 10%

INI SS 2025 Document Verification

Here are some of the documents that candidates must carry with them for INI SS 2025 counselling process:

  • 10th mark sheet
  • 12th mark sheet
  • Registration Slip
  • Passport size photograph
  • Signature
  • Thumb impression
  • INI SS Offer letter
  • MBBS/ BDS degree certificate
  • Admit card
  • Other documents- SC/ ST certificate, OBC/ EWS certificate, PWD certificate, etc.

INI SS 2025 Merit List

There are two merit list prepared based on the performance in Stage I and Stage II examination. The two merit list are CML (Common Merit List) and AML (AIIMS Merit List). For CML, candidates who have appeared in exam for Stage I will be assigned a rank and will be placed in order of overall rank.

The AML Merit List is used for allocation of seats in all AIIMS only. The list is based on the marks obtained in Stage I and Stage II combined for qualified candidates only. All the qualified candidates are assigned a rank and will be placed in order of overall rank.

INI SS 2025 Seat Allocation

The seat allocation is done by online mode after release of both merit list (CML and AML). Seat allocation is based on the overall rank in CML/ AML and choices in order of preference filled by the candidate.

Only eligible candidates are allowed to fill online choices of INI and their order of preference subject to eligibility as per both merit list after declaration of result. The seats are non-convertible/ non interchangeable between different subgroups unless mentioned as per rules applicable at any participating INI.

INI SS 2025 Admission

The INI SS 2025 Admission will be provided to the candidates through allotment of seats. The authority prepares the merit list on the basis of performance shown in the examination. The seats are allotted to candidates based on various factors including their rank, choice filling and marks.

The admission procedure is conducted in multiple rounds like application filling, counselling and final admission. The admission for different courses will be started in May 2025 for July session.
