International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad

International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad (IIIT-H) was established in the year 1998 as a nonprofit public private partnership institution. It is the first IIIT to be set up under this model in India. The IIIT-H is an Autonomous University approved by the MHRD, UGC.

Campus:

The IIIT-H is spread over in 66 acres of land, sited on the Old Bombay Highway in Gachibowli Town in Hyderabad, the district of AP. The campus is situated in the heart of the city near Gachibowli stadium and 16 km from the Nampally Railway Station.

Programmes:

The IIIT-H offers two B.Tech programmes, six M.Tech degree programmes and ten PhD programmes in various disciplines in the field of engineering and technology. The institution offers MS programmes and dual degree programmes in engineering and humanities. Read More >>

Students, Faculty & Staff:

The IIIT-H offers 418 seats for admission as the annual intake in all programmes. The campus has around 101 faculty members and 72 non-teaching staff from all departments.

Facilities:

The IIIT-H provides the facility of well-equipped labs & workshops, a central computer centre with 8Mbps internet connectivity, a library with OPAC facility, digital library, separate hostel for boys & girls, indoor & outdoor sports facility, dining hall and gymnasium.

Activities:

The campus has organized the convocation programme named “Jagruti & Navjivan”. The campus conducts the sports events, flag march, cultural event named “Felicity”, conferences and various co-curricular and extracurricular activities.

Placement:

The IIIT-H is providing the job placement for the students, apart from the trainings, development programmes and industrial visits & exposure.
