Doon Institute of Engineering & Technology (DIET) was established in the year 2004 as a private and self-financing institution set up by the Scholar International Educational Foundation under the roof of the Doon Group of Institutes. The DIET is affiliated to the UTU, Dehradun and approved by the AICTE, Ministry of HRD and Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education.
Campus:
The DIET is sited on the Rishikesh – Haridwar Highway in Village Shyampur at Town Rishikesh in District Dehradun, Uttarakhand. The DIET is situated in the campus of the Doon Group of Institutes. The campus is spread over in around 8 acres of land. The campus is 9 km away from Rishikesh near Nepali Farm and 14 km from Haridwar.

The DIET offers the admission over 600 seats as the annual intake capacity of all degree and diploma programmes. The DIET has a team of 77 faculty members from all departments.

The DIET campus provides the computing facility, spacious lecture halls, laboratories & workshop, library & reading room, counselling room, seminar hall, cafeteria, music room, common room, sports field, transportation and separate hostel for boys & girls.
Activities:
The DIET campus organizes the seminars, workshops, conference and social programme. The students are encouraged to participate in sports activities and extracurricular activities.
