Siwan Engineering and Technical Institute is Private, Self-financed, Muslim minority and co-educational college of engineering and technology was established in the year 2000 Set up by Islamia Educational and Social Welfare Trust, Siwan. College is recognized by the department of science and technology, government of Bihar. College is affiliated to Jai Prakash University, Chhapra. College has approved by AICTE- All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi and Ministry of Human Resource and Development, New Delhi.

Siwan Engineering and Technical Institute is situated on Ismail Nagar road off national highway-85 (Chhapra –Siwan road) in Siwan district of Bihar. Campus is well-connected by roads and railway network.
