HP PAT 2025 Exam Pattern
Here, candidates can check the complete exam pattern in detail. Candidates are requested to carefully check the pattern given below and follow them for the exam preparation.
- Mode of Exam: The written examination will be conducted through offline (OMR) mode.
- Duration of Exam: A maximum of 3 hours (10:00 AM to 1:00 PM) will be provided to complete the whole exam.
- Language of Question Paper: The question paper will be in set and asked in bilingual language, i.e., English & Hindi.
- Types of Questions: The questions will be of Objective type.
- Number of Questions: A total of 150 questions will be asked in the exam from all the subjects.
- Maximum Marks: The whole question paper will be of 150 marks.
- Marking Scheme: For each correct answer, 4 marks will be awarded.
- Negative Marking: For each incorrect answer, 1 mark will be deducted.

HP PAT 2025 Syllabus
The exam authority will provide the HP PAT syllabus for HP PAT 2025 exam from subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English. The written examination syllabus will cover the 10th class syllabus. Candidates must study from the NCERT books. Questions will be asked almost from the NCERT.
The official authority will also provide the topic-wise syllabus for each subject. The whole syllabus will be published along with the HP PAT 2025 information booklet.

- English: Active & Passive voice, preposition, relative, countable and uncountable nouns, etc.

Candidates must prepare for HP PAT 2025 according to the given below preparation tips:
- Candidates must prepare for the exam according to the prescribed exam pattern and the syllabus by the official authority.
- The concept of the topics must be strong enough to face any type of question. So, make your concepts clear & strong.
- Make a systematic timetable and follow it regularly. Give more time to the subject or topic that you find tough and also revise on a daily basis.
- Candidates must attempt online mock tests to check their preparation for the exam. By taking the mock test you will be familiar with the question paper format and you will also know whether you are able to complete the exam in the given time or not.
- Solve previous year’s question papers, by doing this you will get to know how questions are asked, what is the style and language of questions, and which are the common topics from questions that are asked at times.
- Make self written notes and use them at the time of revision. Self-made notes are more easy to understand.
- Regular practice must be done by the candidates from various online and offline study sources.
- Take rest, while studying it is important to study with a calm and positive mind. If you feel tensed or stressed while studying take a bath, play with you pet, listen to music, or take a walk.
- It is very important for candidates to eat a good diet and sleep for at least 7 or 8 hours. Dont eat any fast food try to eat home-cooked food and do some exercise or yoga too.
