BHU 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Below we have provided the complete eligibility criteria for candidates. One must satisfy following norms to be eligible for offered UG, PG, Research and diploma courses. Candidates must go through the eligibility criteria before applying for admission into the University:

CUET Eligibility Criteria

  • Nationality: Indian national citizens will be eligible to apply.
  • Age Limit: There will be no age limit for candidates.
  • Qualification (UG): Applying candidates must have qualified 12th level exam from any recognized board or university.
  • For PG, candidates must have passed bachelor’s degree from any recognized board or university.
  • Percentage: Candidates must have qualified with minimum 50% marks in their graduation to be eligible.

UG Programmes

B.Com (Hons)/B.com (Hons) Financial Markets Management:

  • Qualifying Exam: Candidate should have passed his/her 10+2 level exams or its equivalent from any recognized board.
  • Qualifying Subjects: Applicant must have passed his 10+2 level exams with Commerce/Maths/Economics/Finance/Computer Science/ Financial Markets Management or other vocational course (related to commerce).
  • Qualifying Marks: Candidates in his/her 10+2 level exams must have passed with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in the concerned subjects.

B.Sc. (Hons) Maths Group:

  • Qualifying Exam: Candidate should have passed his/her 10+2 level exams or its equivalent from a recognized board.
  • Qualifying Subjects: One must have qualified his 10+2 level exams with Mathematics and Physics subjects and any one of the following subjects – Chemistry, Geology, Information Technology, Geography, Statistics and Computer Science.
  • Qualifying Marks: Candidates in his/her 10+2 level exams must have passed with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks and must have passed in the concerned subject.

PG Programmes

M.Com. Course:

  • Qualifying Exam: Applying candidate must hold a degree in B.Com/B.Com (Hons.)/B.Com (Hons.)-FMM or equivalent from a recognized University.
  • Qualifying Marks: Students must have passed with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in all subjects studied in B.Com level except for the subjects where only passing marks will be required.

M.C.A Programme:

  • Qualifying Exam: Candidate should have passed his/her 10+2 level exams and must hold a degree in any discipline or its equivalent from a recognized board or University.
  • Qualifying Subjects: Mathematics as one of the subjects (main or subsidiary subject) in either 10+2 level or in Bachelors level will be mandatory to be eligible.
  • Qualifying Marks: Applying candidates must have secured a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in all subjects studied in Bachelor’s level except for the subjects where only passing marks will be required.

 L.L.M Programme:

  • Qualifying Exam: Candidate must have completed his/her 3 years LLB after Graduation or 5 years LLB after 10+2 level from a University recognized by the Bar Council of India.
  • Qualifying Marks: He/ She must have secured a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in LLB degree.

Research Programmes

Faculty of Dental Sciences:

  • Qualifying Exam: Applying candidate must have completed his/her Master’s degree in Dental Surgery or any one of the allied subjects.
  • Qualifying Marks: Students must have secured aggregate of at least 55% Marks or equivalent grade point average in the qualifying exam.

Diploma and Certificate Courses

Faculty of Medicine – PG Diploma in Lab Technology (2 years):

  • Qualifying Exam: Candidate must hold B.Sc. degree with aggregate marks.
  • Qualifying Subjects: One must have passed his B.Sc. degree with Zoology, Botany & Chemistry or Zoology, Botany & Biotechnology or Chemistry, Biotechnology & Zoology.

BHU 2025 Eligibility Criteria for admission into UG, PG, Research and Special Courses will be checked through the website of BHU University. Candidates who will successfully qualify the entrance test and fulfill the eligibility criteria will be provided admission in the University.

  1. Actually maine bhu me cuet ka application form bhara h b.com hons ke liye… Aur maine sub me accounts , business studies, economics, English , Hindi, physical education liya h but maine general test nhi liya h to kya mai bhu me eligible hu admission ke liye plz btaiye

    1. There is age limit for this programs but candidates should have pass B.Sc. (Hons.)/ B.Sc. under 10+2+3 pattern securing a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate in Science subjects (considering all the three years of B.Sc. Course).

    1. If you are currently a 12th appearing candidates then you will have to select appearing instead of passed in education status column.

  7. I got 48% in my graduatation can I apply for post graduation from BHU ,if my exam be cleared will I be eligible??
