Given below are the eligibility criteria that a candidate needs to satisfy in order to enroll themselves in the M.B.B.S and B.D.S courses in Andhra Pradesh.

• The Candidate must be an Indian Citizen to take admission in the medical colleges of Andhra Pradesh.
• Candidates who possess the OCI card (Overseas Citizen of India) will also be eligible to take admission in the MBBS and BDS courses offered by the medical colleges of Andhra Pradesh.
• Candidates must have the local domicile of the state.
• The age of the applicants needs to be 17 years on or before 31^st December of the year in which admission is sought.
• Candidates must have passed 12^th/ equivalent exam from a recognized board of secondary education.
• Candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology)/ Biotechnology and English at the higher secondary level.
• Candidates must have secured 50% marks at the higher secondary level of the examination.
• The candidates of the reserved category will be eligible to take admission in the medical institutes with 45% marks.

Selection Process

To become a student in the MBBS/ BDS colleges of Andhra Pradesh a candidate mandatorily will have to appear and qualify in the NEET 2025 test after which the interested candidates can apply online for the seats through AP MBBS 2025. After filling the application form with necessary personal and academic details the candidates will need to pay the application fees.
