Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology, Delhi

Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology, (NSIT) Delhi is an autonomous institution under the government of NCT (Delhi). The college was established in the year 1983 as the name Delhi institute of Technology with the objective to meet the growing demands of manpower in the emerging fields of engineering and technology with a close social and industrial interface. The institute was granted with administrative autonomy in the year 1986. The institute was registered as a Society in the name of “Delhi Institute of Technology” (DIT) on 12th June 1987 and in the year 1997 the Institute was renamed as “Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology”. The institute is affliated to University of Delhi and approved by AICTE New Delhi.

Campus:

The college campus is located at Azad Hind Fauj Marg, sector-3 in Dwarka in South West Delhi. The college is spread in a sprawling campus of 145 acres, the college campus comprises of administrative buildings, academic buildings, library buildings, and all important amenities. The college is located 1 km from Dwarka Mor Metro Station, 12 km from Delhi Airport, 30 km from I.S.B.T. and 5 km from Uttam Nagar.

The major facilities provided by the college include well equipped labs and workshops, well spacious and ventilated lecture halls with audio visual aids, a central library with a large collection of books and journals, computer centre with internet facility, seminar hall, well. The other facilities include canteen and mess facility, transportation and medical facility.

Activities:

The activities that are organized every year in the college include Tech Fest, Sports Meet, and Annual Day etc.
