Admission Procedure
Admission in Delhi NCR will be offered on the basis of national level NEET entrance exam. State colleges and universities will not be authorized to conduct their own entrance exams. It will be necessary for the candidates to appear in the entrance exam to access the MBBS/BDS programmes. NEET will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
Entrance Exams
The admission into medical & dental courses of all the government & private colleges in Delhi NCR state are based on NEET score. NEET is a national level entrance exam in which candidate must appear and get admission in the top medical colleges on the basis of their ranks. The examination will be conducted through online mode. For PG medical courses, candidates must appear in the NEET PG entrance exam.

MBBS Admission 2024
Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria given below in order to sit in the NEET written test. Candidates those will be eligible only considered for allotting the seats at the time of counselling.
- Candidate of Indian national, OCI holders, PIO, NRI or Foreign Nationals candidates will be able to apply for NEET 2023.
- Applying candidate must pass the 12th or its equivalent examination from any recognized board with PCB.
- The qualifying examination must pass with minimum 50% marks for general category, 45% marks in GEN-PH, 40% marks for SC/ST/OBC category & 40% marks for SC-PH/ST-PH/OBC-PH category.
- Appearing candidates will be also eligible to apply.
- The lower age limit to apply will be till 17 years as on 31st December in the year of admission.
Selection Procedure
The seats will be allotted to the candidates on the basis of their ranks secured in the entrance test. State authorities conduct the counselling for 85% state quota seats for the state colleges. MCC and DHGS are the authorities to conduct the 15% all India seats counselling for all medical and dental courses in all over India. Candidates will have to register on the counselling website to participate in the online counselling.
After registering on the website, candidates will be permitted to fill the college preferences. As per the filled choices, candidate’s rank and availability of seats in the participating colleges, the seats has been allotted to the candidates. Candidates will have to confirm their seat on reporting the allotted college in stipulated time period.
