A.D. Patel Institute of Technology (ADPIT) was established in the year 2000, as a private and self-financing institution, set up by the Charutar Vidya Mandal. The campus was affiliated to the Sardar Patel University up to 2008, but from the year 2008, the institute has affiliated with the Gujarat Technological University. The ADPIT is approved by the state directorate of technical education, AICTE and Ministry of HRD. The campus is accredited by the ISO 9001:2008 certification and NBA for five engineering disciplines.
Campus:
The ADPIT campus is sited on the GIDC 4th Phase in New Vallabh Vidyanagar at Vitthal Udyognagar in District Anand, Gujarat. The eco-friendly campus of this institution is spread over in 40 acres of land at 6 km away from the Anand City.
Students, Faculty & Staff:
The college has 606 seats as the annual Intake in all programmes under the guidance of around 140 faculty members and 12 administrative staff.
Facilities:
The ADPIT is providing the separate hostel for boys & girls, a central library with huge volumes of book, department wise laboratories & workshops, computing facility with more than 600 PC, sports facility and various academic & campus facilities for its students and staff.
Activities:
The college organizes the cricket championship, orientation programme, annual day, Holi, sports event, Ganesh Utsav, blood donation camp, seminars and other extracurricular activities.

The ADPIT is offering the UG degree programme in eight engineering disciplines and PG degree programme in two specializations of engineering & technology. It offers engineering courses in following streams:

Placement:
The ADPIT has established the III Cell (Institution Industry Interaction Cell) for providing the industrial exposure very close to the students and facilitating them by live industrial projects, industrial training and job placement. The college visits by various companies for campus recruiting for the students.
