VITMEE Counselling 2025
The shortlisted candidates will be called for an Interview after the declaration of result. The time and date for the interview round are informed by the university on their website. Candidates are also notified through SMS on candidate’s registered mobile number.
The counselling will be held through the online mode. The candidate should produce the admit card at the time of interview. Shortlisted candidates must have to pay counselling fee at the time of counselling.
The counselling will be conducted for the VIT University in Chennai and Vellore campuses. Candidates have to login through their IDs and submit the choices as per the rank. The counselling will be organized in various rounds depending upon the number of availability of seats. The university also releases the merit list in which names of the qualified candidates are mentioned.
Candidates should bring the original documents along with them on the counselling day. Candidates should note that without producing the original documents candidates will not be allowed for further procedures of admission.
VITMEE Counselling Schedule 2025
VITMEE 2025 Counselling will start in May 2025 through online mode. It will be mandatory to attend for every exam-qualified candidate. The counselling procedure will be held in more than one round if seats remain vacant after the first round.

- After the declaration of result, the authority will release the merit list for the candidates.
- Candidates whose names appear in the merit list will be only eligible for the counselling session.
- GATE qualified candidates will be able to appear directly in the counselling with their GATE 2025 score card.
- If any candidate will be unable to pay the fee, then his/her name will be removed from the admission list. The counselling fee will be non-refundable and can be adjusted in the tuition fee at the time of admission.
- Candidates will have to login to the website of VITMEE and check their rank.
- Read all the instructions carefully before proceeding with online counselling.
- Fill in your choices of preferred course, campus, and category as per the rank.
- Seats will be allotted to candidates as per their rank and filled choices.
- Once the seats are allotted to the candidate they cannot be changed further. With allotment letter candidates are able to report to the allotted college and get admission.
Documents required at the time of Counselling
Candidates will have to bring these documents along with one set of Xerox copy on the counselling day. Without verification of the documents, candidates will not be allowed for admission. Candidate must present themselfs along with given below documents to attend the offline counselling.
- Metric and Intermediate Mark sheet
- Mark Sheet of Bachelor’s degree
- VITMEE Admit Card & Rank Card
- Valid GATE score card for M.Tech applicants (if applicable)
- Community Certificate (for reserved category candidates)
- Service Certificate issued by the Employer (for sponsored candidates)
- Original Degree/Provisional Certificate
- Transfer Certificate, etc.
All the candidates who will be taking part in the upcoming VITMEE 2025 session counselling should note that registration of those will be cancelled who fail to bring any of the required documents or if any of the documents will be found false or incorrect.
