JIPMER MBBS 2025 Exam Pattern

JIPMER MBBS 2025 Exam Pattern
- Mode of Exam: It will be conducted through offline mode (Pan & Paper Based Test) only.
- Exam Date: The NEET exam for admission in JIPMER MBBS will be conducted in first week of May 2025.
- Duration of Exam: It will be of about three hours and twenty minutes.
- Language: The language of the question will be English, Hindi, Tamil, Assamese, Oriya, Kannada, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Urdu, and Telugu.
- No. of Questions: There will be a total of 200 questions which will be asked in the examination.
- Type of Questions: Multiple choice questions will be asked in the examination.
- Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English language and Comprehension and Logical & Quantitative Reasoning.
- Marking Scheme: For each correct answer, four marks will be allotted to the candidates.
- Negative Marking: One mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

JIPMER MBBS Syllabus 2025
The syllabus of JIPMER MBBS 2025 will be prepared from the syllabus as prescribed by the State Board Higher Secondary and CBSE for 11th and 12th standards. Candidates will also be able to go for the Mock Test for CBT online exam, which will be provided by the authority on their website. The syllabus will consist of subjects as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English Language & Comprehension, and Logical & Quantitative Reasoning.
Chemistry: Questions will be asked from the topics such as alcohol, aldehydes, organic, compound containing nitrogen, electrochemistry, Chemical Bonding and Molecular Structure, surface chemistry, solid state, chemical kinetic, Equilibrium in Physical & Chemical Process, Alcohols, P block elements, D and F block elements, biomolecules, Electronegativity, Equilibrium, Physical & Chemical Properties of Primary Alcohol etc.
Physics: Candidates will have to prepare questions from the topics like Static & Kinetic Friction, Motion of System of Particles and Rigid Body, law of motion, work, energy and power, Current Electricity, Electric Charges & their Conservation, behavior of perfect gases and kinetic theory of gases, Electrostatics, physical world and measurement, Bulk Modulus, Critical Velocity, oscillation and waves etc.
Biology: syllabus will include topics such as diversity of living organism, bio-technology and its applications, human physiology, cell: structure and function, Cell Structure and Function, biology and human welfare, Three Domains of Life, Heredity & Variations, Reproduction, Reproduction in Organisms, Plant Cell & Animal Cell, Transport in Plants, Principle & Process of Biotechnology, Plant Physiology, Morphology & Modifications etc.
In English language, there will be 3 sections, Section A will be as reading unseen passages & Note-making. Section B as writing skills. Literature part & long reading text part will be from section C.
