BITS Edu Campus, Vadodara
BITS Edu Campus is popularly known as the just BITS. The campus has been started in the year 2004. The BITS is a private and self-financing institution set up by the Shree Krishna Educational and Charitable Trust. The campus is affiliated to the Gujarat technological University and approved by the AICTE, PCI and Ministry of HRD. The campus is accredited by the International Accreditation Organization, USA.
Campus:
The BITS campus comprises with two institutions named Babaria Institute of Technology (2004) and Babaria Institute of pharmacy (2005). The BITS is sited on the Vadodara – Mumbai National Highway-8 at Varnama in Vadodara, the district of Gujarat. The campus is 15 km equally away from the Vadodara Railway Station and the Vadodara Bus Stand.
Students, Faculty & Staff:
The campus has total 960 annual intake seats for admission as 780 seats has offered by the Institute of Technology and 180 seats has offered by the Institute of Pharmacy. The BITS campus has around 3600 students, 216 faculty members and 90 supporting staff across the both institutions.
Facilities:
The BITS campus has ventilated classrooms, engineering laboratories, science laboratories, pharmaceutical laboratories, workshops, computer centre with 4 Mbps internet speed, two auditoriums having capacity of 200 & 180 seating capacity, two libraries with 19000 volumes for engineering and more than 12000 for pharmacy reference. The campus has a cafeteria and separate hostel for boys and girls.
Activities:
The BITS campus commonly organizes the activities like Aahvan, Khel Maha Kumbh, Youth Festival, Annual Day function, community services, Scholar Awards function, Aanushthan and National Seminar.
Programmes:
On the campus, the Institute of Technology is offering the B.E programme in eight engineering disciplines and the Institute of Pharmacy is offering the M.Pharm course in six specializations and one B.Pharm programme in the field of Pharmaceutics. The main engineering branches offered by the campus are following:

Placement:
The BITS has a central Training & placement Cell which organizes the programme “AADHAN” where universities and industries come together. The T&P cell involves in organizing the training programme, soft skill programme, counselling programme for higher education & Job placement and entrepreneurship development programme for the students. Tata Motors, Syntel, Enercon, NTPC, Emphasis, Infosys, Collabera and Jindal are the best recruiters of the campus.
