AP Polycet 2025 Eligibility

It is necessary to fulfill all eligibility criteria in order to get admission. Appearance in the examination is not the only eligibility to get admission to the polytechnic colleges. Candidates will be provided admissions on fulfilling all eligibilities laid down by the authority.

Eligibility Criteria

Nationality:

• Applying candidate must be an Indian citizen.

State Eligibility:

• Candidates should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh.
• Candidates applying should have the domicile of Andhra Pradesh state.

Age Criteria:

• There is no restriction to appear in the AP Polycet examination.

Qualifying Exam:

• Candidate should pass the SSC (10th) exam from AP state.
• The SSC exam must be conducted by the State Board of Secondary Education, AP/Telangana, or any other recognized board.

Minimum Marks:

• Candidates have to score a minimum of 35% marks in their qualifying exam.

Mandatory Subjects:

• Candidates who belong to the NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling)/APOSS (AP Open School Society)/CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education)/ICSE (Indian Council for Secondary Education)/Other examinations recognized by AP govt.
• Candidates should pass all the subjects such as Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry with 35% in each subject.

Appearing Candidates:

• Those appearing in the SSC exam or whose results are awaited or yet to be declared can also apply for this exam.
• Candidates who have a compartment in their SSC exam can also apply, but their compartment should be cleared before the admission procedure.

AP Polycet 2025 Application Form

Candidates can check following details about AP Polycet application form:

• Application form will be released in the third week of February 2025.
• Candidates will be able to fill out their application form through online mode. Any other mode is not provided to fill out the application form.
• Registration process includes steps like self-registration, form filling, document upload, and fee submission.
• Fill in all the correct details in the form like education, personal, communication, etc.
• Upload your scanned documents i.e. photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
• An application form will be filled out by second week of April 2025. 
• Correction facility may be provided by the authorities in the application form.
• Take a printout of the filled application form and keep it secure for other procedures.

Application Fee:

Application fee is Rs. 400/- for OC/ BC and Rs 100/- for SC/ ST category candidates. The fee can be submitted through online mode using debit card/ credit card/ net banking or MEESEVA payment.

While paying the application fees if candidates face any issues they are suggested to reach out to the appropriate authority. A delay in fee submission may lead to application form rejection. Once the fee submission window is closed no request will be entertained by the authority.
