IBSAT 2024/ 2025 Selection Process will be done from 15th February 2025. IBSAT is conducted by the ICFAI Foundation which is a university level entrance exam. IBSAT Selection Process for the IBS MBA/PGPM program includes a Micro-Presentation and

Candidates who have qualified based on IBSAT 2024/CAT/NMAT by GMAC™/XAT/GMAT™ score will be called for the selection process during February/March 2025.
Alternative scores from 2020 onwards of GMAT/ NMAT by GMAC/ XAT/ CAT are accepted in place of IBSAT 2022. Candidates will get admission in IBS Jaipur, IBS Kolkata, IBS Gurgaon, IBS Dehradun, IBS Mumbai, IBS Pune, IBS Ahmedabad and IBS Bengaluru campuses through IBSAT 2024.

IBSAT 2024/2025 Selection Process
IBSAT 2024 Admission Procedure will be conducted on the basis of IBSAT score & past academic performance of the candidate. In IBSAT 2024, candidates must be having passing marks individually in every section of the exam. The candidates will be invited for the selection procedure on the basis of their overall performance.

The selection breifing will be taken place from 10th January 2024. Candidates will qualify on the basis of IBSAT/ XAT/ CAT/NMAT by GMAC /GMAT will be called for the selection process. Qualified candidates will be shortlisted for the merit list and they will be provided with the rank.
The selection process for IBSAT 2024 will be started from 15th February 2025. Candidates who qualifies on the basis of IBSAT/ GMAT™/ XAT/ CAT NMAT by GMAC™ will be considered in the selection process. For final selection, past academic performance, micro presentation & PI will be considered.

Admission to MBA/ PGPM programme will be given based on two components such as Micro-Presentation and Personal Interview. Each components carrying a weightage of 25 marks. We are briefing the details fro both the components below:
- Micro Presentation – Selection process of this component aims to provide a focused assessment of candidate’s communication and presentation skills, along with their ability to think and organize thoughts quickly.
The process of Micro-presentation
- The candidates will select a number between 1 and 100 & each number corresponds to a pre-assigned topic.
- Candidates is provide with the corresponding topic upon selecting a number.
- Then candidates will have 2 minutes to prepare and deliver a 3 minutes presentation.
- In case candidates finds the first topic difficult, then they may request a second topic by selecting another number between 1 and 100.
- Given topics are randomised after each selection. Even if a subsequent candidates chooses the same number, they will receive a different topic.
Key Features of the Micro-Presentation
- It is an individual exercise, unlike a group discussion. Those presenting candidates will speak, with no interaction or discussion among participants. During or after the presentation, aspirants will not be posed any questions.
- Before a batch of 9-11 fellow candidates and 2 panel members, each candidates presents his/her topic.
- Selection panel will assess candidates based on their ability to:
- Think quickly and organize thoughts effectively.
- Present information clearly and concisely within the 3 minute time limit.
- Demonstrate the following qualities such as Communication Skills, Logical Reasoning, Relevance to the topic, Body Language, Confidence.
Guidance for Candidates

- During the 1 minute preparation time, candidates must jot down key points or an outline quickly takes time to structure their thoughts.
- Try to focus on delivering the most critical and relevant information clearly and succinctly.
- Practice speaking at steady pace to fit within the 3 minute limit.
- Throughout the presentation, maintain confidence, clarity, and appropriate body language.
Another component for admission is Personal Interview, we have mentioned some of the important details below:
- Personal Interview: In this round, each candidate will be interviewed for 5-7 minutes. The interview panel will focus on assessing the attitude and aspirations of the candidates besides evaluating their General Knowledge, communication skills, clarity of thought and expression, as well as aptitude for a career in management.
Final selection will be on the basis of past academic records and performance of candidates in Group Discussion (GD) & Personal Interview (PI).
IBSAT 2024/ 2025 Admission Schedule
The selection briefing will be taken place from 10th January at campus. Candidates are advised to check the schedule on the website. The candidates are allowed to choose any campus as per the preference at the time of selection procedure.
Candidates will be called for the selection procedure from 15th February 2025. Candidates will get selected call letter through post and carry it to the selection venue.

IBSAT Cut-off
The university provides the admissions on the basis of marks secured by the candidates in IBSAT entrance test, GD & PI. Based on the performance of the candidate in IBSAT 2022 written (CBT) test, a separate merit list is prepared by each institution. A merit position, scorecard and marks secured in each section has been displayed on the website. If two candidates scores equal marks, the inter-se-merit has been prepared. Candidates will be able to check the IBSAT 2024 cut-off and as per the given cut-off they get admission.
Cut-off depend on various factors such as no. of candidates appeared in the examination, difficulty level of examination and availability of seats.
IBSAT 2025
IBSAT is a Management Aptitude Test which is conducted every year by the ICFAI Foundation for Higher Educational Qualification. It is organized for the candidates those wishing to get admission into MBA or PGPM programmes. It is a university level examination which offered admission to the various ICFAI business schools.
IBSAT Admission Criteria
Final selection of the candidates will be carried out on the basis of Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Candidates will be shortlisted for admission on the basis of their performance in Personal Interview and Group Discussion. Participating institutions will display the names of selected candidates for their campuses on their websites. The admission will be offered on the basis of GD & PI and past academic performance (PAR). Candidates are advised to take admission into the allotted institution before the last date of enrollment.
