Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT, Gandhi Nagar) is one of the autonomous institutions administered by the IIT Council of India and approved by the Ministry of Human Resources and Development, New Delhi. The IIT, Gandhi Nagar was established in the year 2008 by the Government of India.
Campus:
The IIT, Gandhi Nagar is sited on the Visat – Gandhi Nagar Highway in Vishwakarma Government Engineering Complex at Chandkheda in Gandhi Nagar, the district of Gujarat. The campus is spread over in 400 acres of land. The campus is just 15 minutes driven distance from the Ahmadabad and Gandhi Nagar.
Faculty:
The IIT, Gandhi Nagar has around 161 faculty members from all departments including core and guest faculty.

The IIT, Gandhi Nagar provides the equipped laboratories, well-stocked library, workshops, science lab, computer lab with internet facility, canteen, cafeteria, separate hostel for boys and girls, mess, transportation, sports facility, medical facility, guest house and 24X7 security arrangements.
Activities:
The students of this University have formed various clubs like the Entrepreneurship Technocrats Association (ETA) and the Forum of Interaction on Physics (FIOP). The students participate in curricular, co-curricular and extracurricular activities.
