Annai Velakanni’s Group of Educational Institutions, Chennai was established in the year 1988. This group of institution was set up by the Annai Veilankanni’s Educational and Cultural Society. The Annai Veilankanni’s Pharmacy College was formed in the year 1995. The college is affiliated to the Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R. Medical University. The pharmacy courses are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi.

Campus

The campus of the college is located in Saidapet, South Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The campus is well-connected with bus & train services. The college is situated 1 km away from the Saidapet Bus Stand & Railway Station.  The Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R. Medical University is located 3 kms away from the college campus.
