Gayatri College of Pharmacy, Sambalpur

Gayatri College of Pharmacy, Sambalpur was set up in the year 1986 with an aim to produce technically trained personnel in the field of pharmaceutical technology. The institution is recognized by Govt. of Orissa, affiliated to Orissa State Board of Pharmacy, Bhubaneshawar. It has approval of AICTE & PCI, New Delhi.

Campus

The institution is spread over an area of 5 acres of land. It is situated below the foot step of the longest Hirakud Dam and located at Jamadarpali 6 kms away from the township. It is well-connected with railways and National Highways. The campus having state of the art infrastructure comprises of all major facilities

Facilities

There are many facilities provided by the institution for the students. It is fully- equipped with the IT infrastructure, Medical facilities, college cafeteria, girls’ and boys’ hostel, college buses, sports facilities, library, etc. It has also well-equipped Pharmaceutical laboratories. It has also conducting seminar, industrial visit, cultural and academic events.

Placement

The training & placement cell of the GCP gives importance on training and placement. The placement cell has been activated under the constant supervision of placement and development officer. The placement cell has successfully organized placement of students in the companies like Ranbaxy, Dr. Reddy’s, Medley, Cipla, Biochem, Aristo, Torrent, Wockhards etc.
