Aligarh College of Pharmacy, Aligarh

The institute was established in 2006 under the vision of JVS Group of Institutions. The institution is approved by AICTE and pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi. The institute is affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow (formerly UPTU). It only offers the Bachelor of Pharmacy.

Campus

The academic infrastructure of the campus is in the form of well equipped laboratories; it is filled with advanced instruments like HPLC, FTIR, UV and Visible Spectrometer. It is situated in the 3 lm from Sasni Gate on Mathure Road, Aligarh, UP. The training & placement (TPC) cell was established by the college authorities for the welfare of the students.

Facilities

The college has well equipped with modern facilities like computers, internet facilities, library with recent journals, books and various laboratory facilities. The institute provided the many facilities in the college campus like Gymnasium, Sports ground, Yoga, Arts & Crafts, DANCE, Music and NSS & NCC. The college has also other facilities like security, banking, transport, hostel, mess, canteen, etc.

Programmes

A Bachelor of Pharmacy is an Undergraduate academic degree in the field of pharmacy. It is conducted at Aligarh College of Pharmacy from 2005-06 with an annual intake of 60 and State Government of UP and All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi have approved this programme. The eligibility for the admission in equivalent course is 10+2 with minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks in total for required subject combination (Physics & Chemistry compulsory + Mathematics/Biology/Biotechnology).

Placement

The college provides the placement assistance to its students. The students of the college are placed in various reputed pharmaceutical companies. It provides the opportunity for every student to grab the best suited jobs by conducting the campus drives. Many reputed companies visited the college like Ranbaxy, Cadila, Cipla, Glenmark, Dabur Ltd, etc.
