Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Rajasthan Ayurved University, Jodhpur

Dr. Sarvpalli Radhakrishnan Rajasthan Ayurved University, Jodhpur is the first Ayurved University of Rajasthan. It is then become second Ayurved University in India. The university was established by the DSRRAU in the year 2003. The university has now affiliated all the 44 colleges/institutions of Ayurved. The university is now recognized under section 2/F from UGC. It is affiliated by RUHS, Jaipur and approved by AICTE & Govt. of Rajasthan. It has many affiliated colleges which come under this which conducts the Ayurved courses in many disciplines.

Campus

The campus of the Ayurved University is located in the area of Karwar, Nagaur Road, Jodhpur. It has many other campuses which were located in other States. It offers various courses in field of Ayurved. The Jodhpur campus is spread over 70 acres of the lush green land of Jodhpur. It is reachable by National Highway 65 Nagaur Road. It provides the many facilities regarding the Ayurved and Homeopathy. The college has 14 departments.

Facilities

The university offers the various facilities for the students and faculty members both. It has large laboratories with all equipments for practical knowledge. The college has departmental laboratories furnished with the latest equipments, a central library with lots of books and journals. There is efficient and hard-working faculty from all over the India. There are many facilities like hospital & patient care services, herbarium & drug museum, herbal garden, anatomy museum, hostels, facilities of indoor and outdoor games, etc.

Programmes

The University of Ayurved offers the many courses in Undergraduate and Postgraduate level. The courses offered by the university are Ph.D (Ayurved), M.D. (Ayurveda, Homeopathy), B.A.M.S., B.H.M.S., B.U.M.S., B.Pharma (in Ayurveda), Diploma in Herbal Farming, Diploma in Ayurveda for Medical students, etc.

Placement

The Ayurveda University invites the agencies for the projects developed by students. It support the students in Research and Development. Many agencies like ICMR, CCRAS, CCRUM, CCRYN, CCRH, supports the students to write projects. Also there is international agencies show their interest like WHO, NIH, etc.
