University Institute of Engineering and Technology (UIET) was established in the year 2004 by the Kurukshetra University. The UIET is affiliated to the Kurukshetra University, Haryana and approved by the AICTE, MHRD and DTE & Govt. of Haryana.

Campus:

The UIET is located in the University campus area as a constituent of the university. The campus is situated in the heart of the City, Kurukshetra. The campus is spread over in 400 acres of well-developed land. The campus is well-connected to the Kurukshetra Railway Station as the nearest one and the Bus Stand.

Programmes:

The UIET is conducting the B.Tech degree course in four engineering disciplines, M.Tech degree course in seven specializations of engineering, and facilitating them by the research programmes in Biotech, CS and ECE. Read More >>

The UIET has about 496 seats as the annual intake for admission in all programmes. The institution has around 48 faculty members including 33% PhD holder out of them.

Facilities:

The UIET is a part of the KU campus and that is why provides the all necessary facilities that requires for a college like, spacious classes, library, science & engineering laboratories, computer lab, transportation, separate hostel for boys & girls, sports facility and health care centre.

Activities:

The UIET conducts the NCC & NSS programme and camping activities. The college organizes the cultural activities like talent show, Haryana Day, University Youth Festival, Sanskrit Day, science day, theatre festival and Loc Rang Utsav.

Placement:
