IIT JAM 2025 Application Correction
Correction facility has been opened from 6th November 2024 for making changes in application data. Last date to make changes in the JAM 2025 application will be till 18th November 2024.
The authority has provided the minor modification/ correction in the IIT JAM 2025 application form. Candidates who wish to make corrections in fields like gender, category, PwD status and exam city start.
IIT JAM 2025 application form can be filled from 3rd September to 18th October 2024. Corrections can be done only through online mode. Correction facility is not provided through any offline mode.
Requests for change of category, if any, with proper documentation, should be made latest by 18th November 2024. Requests received after this date will not be accepted under any circumstances. So candidates are advised to not wait till the last date.
To make correction in the application form, candidates have to enter their login credentials i.e. application number/ email ID or password.
After the scrutiny of applications, a list of defective applications will be released. The list contains the Application ID, Candidate’s Name and Defects in the application. Candidates should check the list and if any correction required then do it immediately.
Fields that can be Modified:
The corrections/ modifications can be allowed in the following fields:
- Category Change
- Gender
- Exam City
Additional Fee for Change of Fields:

Additional fee can be paid through online mode only. Candidates will be able to pay it via credit card, debit card or net banking.

How to Make Correction in IIT JAM 2025 Application
Candidates can make corrections in IIT JAM 2025 application form by following these simple steps:
- Go through the website (Link is given above).
- Enter login details such as Enrollment ID/Registration No. and Password.
- Click on Submit button.
- After successful login, click on the “Change Personal Data” option.
- Now, make corrections wherever required.
- Pay the application fee (if required).
- After submitting the modified details, must take printout of the application for further use.

I uploaded the picture and signature but the category certificate will take time can i submit picture and signature first or i m afraid that if i submit without uploading category they will count me in general.
